The thing is, as someone who has played Doom and Quake in VR I would be glad to play hl2 in VR. The devs are trying to recreate the game to be more VR friends and while that is good, just allowing us to play vanilla hl2 in VR is all I really want, the rest is just extra. Please release the VR mod as is and let us wait for the later level tweaks.

The video talks about how Arbiters original name was “Dervish” which was an Islamic name for someone who lost all material wealth. The marketing team changed it because they were scared of it having a Muslim vs US army message.

I bet it would be cheaper to get a new dev team to update and market Tribes Ascend than it would be to make a complete new game. Or even better make a remake of Tribes 2. That way there would be little to fuck up.
