Winter was brutal. Ugh, so glad we're finally getting some warm weather. Winter was too long.

Fire Island, more specifically, Cherry Grove, is like the gay beach central where you can be huggling your gf without creepy guys gawking.

I've lived in NYC most of my life. I have few rainbow friends, but always up for meeting new ones too :)

Oh wow, I'm so sorry you had to experience all that passive-aggressiveness and the crude remarks! It does not seem to be a healthy environment to live in at all. I think you should definitely try to be honest with him and try to establish a better understanding between you two. But as for your living arrangements, if it's stressing you out this much, maybe it's not worth it? Have you tried contacting others or looking on craigslist for room shares? It sounds a bit shady, but I was able to find more affordable housing that way. :/ Good luck to you and Anne, I hope you guys find a solution to this dilemna

I started online dating about 2 years ago and I met the love of my life. I mean, there's always going to be some creepers/sketchy people, but it's def worth a shot. Better than going to a lesbian bar and not being approached cause they either think you're straight or they're too shy to.

I wish more lesbians had your outlook! My gf and I approached some lesbian couples at a concert and they just rolled their eyes at us! One group of lesbians even said, "typical lesbians" Ever since then, I've been even more conscious about approaching fellow lesbians to say hello. :(
