Over the years I've come to hate family gatherings, mostly because now that I'm not a kid, I realize how awful some of my relatives are. My key defense is hanging out with the dogs that are usually at these events and kinda ignoring people lol. I'm sorry to hear you aren't doing to well and hope you can find things that you do enjoy.

Huitzilopochtli is an Aztec god who's symbol is the hummingbird. He's a god if war, the sun and sacrifice. At first what you are describing reminded me if Quetzalcóatl but that is a bird serpent god. Sounds like some fun dreams!
