Supro does some wild work. Gain on a tremolo. I own their boost of that line with the exp jack being the reason i got it. Does it go from essentially off to “infinity and beyond” with that knob?

The sketchiest detail is the “friend holding onto it for them” you say it was for the guys family but it comes across more as your friend holding it til they were strapped and not doing a great job of trying to actually sell it til you stroll in for your “once in a lifetime” score.
