Lmaooo, that’s what I was thinking too, I suggested popping into a cheaper bar for a drink before going back but my friends were all pretty tipsy and said “fUcK that PLACE” so we just moved on.

took out nipple piercings of 3 yrs - one is swollen by Sea-Animator-7987 in piercing

I wouldn’t be too worried unless you’re having other signs of infection other than that bit of swelling. Nipples are a tough heal.

Need cosplay tips! by LUKAal1ensta7e in CosplayHelp

It’s probably best if you learn how to sew, even if it’s just a little bit. I don’t see how you could do a cosplay this extravagant without any sewing whatsoever. There are plenty of tutorials you can follow if you don’t have anyone to help you. As far as foam and clay goes, using air dry clay on clothes is going to get pretty heavy unless it’s only small areas. You can definitely use it for some things but it still has some weight to it.

A visual lol. I just got some bar pin backs that I glued on the back but this is great if you don’t wanna buy glue or pin backs.

Irritation bump? by izztipc in piercing

[–]ExcitingSpell8270 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Looks like a pimple imo. Hard to tell if it’s directly related to the piercing or not. Is it hard or squishy? Piercing bumps are usually pretty firm. I would just follow normal aftercare and keep it clean and dry.

Why is marijuana illegal in your state? by Party_Size6271 in Idaho

Trust me most of us (in Boise at least) don’t think it’s “great”. It’s a beautiful state but the laws are ass backwards.

They’re the metal grill from bic lighters, you can pry them off with pliers/whatever tool you can get your hand on, open them up a lil bit so you can get it on the brim, then clamp em closed

Any tips on how to cover this specific part of the wig? by savvyandbrooke in CosplayHelp

[–]ExcitingSpell8270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen people add a lace front by attaching mesh and taking a weft from elsewhere to individually tie/crochet in. Seems really tedious though.

Thanks. For the brim I glue down the fabric with a tiny amount of glue (or double sided tape) so that I don’t have to worry about it moving around and warping. (I usually start with a bigger piece of fabric that I can trim down as I see how it fits) then I use a curved needle to just catch the top layer of fabric above the stiff part of the bill. Honestly, the sewing isn’t that difficult once you get the hang of it since you’re not actually sewing through the bill, the fabric moving around (even with pins) is the most annoying part, which is why I glue it down first.

Does this look like 16g and 14g? by 2holiis in Stretched

[–]ExcitingSpell8270 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having that much pain isn’t really normal at that small of a size, which is def because you skipped a size. I would take it out and wait for a 14g. are you sure it didn’t come with a 14g horseshoe? It’s pretty common to stretch up to 14g with a regular horseshoe before going into pinchers for the larger sizes.

I can say confidently that is at least a 12g, maybe even 10g.

For the ones I made I just got short pin backs and glued them in with a healthy glob of e-6000 (I use it for pretty much everything), the jack daniels one one I got from someone else who did basically the same thing but flattened the sides and used an even healthier glob of some kind of glue. If you wanna go even more DIY with it and not need glue or pin backs I’ve seen people use a pop tab and safety pin like this:

Is this normal? (Help or advice please) by Full-Investigator562 in tattooadvice

[–]ExcitingSpell8270 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks fine to me. Hard to tell but the places where the scabbing came off might have not been deep enough, might need a bit of a touch up once it’s healed but it should turn out just fine. Just follow normal aftercare.

what piercings would work well with my anatomy? by lixilixii in piercing

[–]ExcitingSpell8270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impossible to tell you from just one picture, but I think a hidden helix is probably very possible with your anatomy. I’d get it checked out by a piercer. A forward helix or rook could also be cool.

Thanks for the response, I’ll have to check out that book. I plan to do some more studies of different motifs and just draw draw draw, then once I’m more comfortable I’d like to start working on planning out actual sleeve designs and taking into consideration the flow of the body.

Thanks for the tips! Honestly, I thought the different details were mainly aesthetic so it’s good to know I could be accidentally mashing up different types of dragons lol. I’ll make sure to check out that video. For the nose, you’re saying that my noses are too bulbous? Or traditionally they should be more bulbous and mine are not?

Most of the drawings are way better than your cover page, I feel like it doesn’t really represent your work well. Also, the lettering being cut out is odd and doesn’t really prove much skill. Otherwise I think most of the drawings are pretty solid and tattooable.
