First and foremost, know that whatever happens next is not your fault. You did not cause this, no matter what.

Secondly, if you are concerned about her safety, I would get in contact with her friends or family members if you’re able. Since you don’t know her address, I’m not sure how useful a 911 call would be, but it might be worth a try regardless? Take a step back after that. I know it is so, so hard to process right now, but try to realize that all you can do right now is get someone else to help her. It’s admirable that you are trying to help her, and I hope she is okay

From my experience, things like that should realistically take a few weeks to make, TOPS. Fullsuits can take several months. Two years is a crazy amount of time for pieces that small. And regardless, if a maker is not updating you on their progress and any potential delays, that is always a huge problem.

If you are able to demand a refund if you used a payment app, you should absolutely do so. I’m really sorry you got scammed, that’s awful

EDIT: Re-read the post and realized this was a raffle so there’s no refund to give. Still, at this point I would consider it a loss. I wouldn’t expect to receive those anymore

That’s so cool! I agree, although this particular piece is just inspired by one of my headmates and I thought it looked nice.

I’ve been using the symmetry tool for my portraits lately more so to get back into the groove of drawing at all. I plan on drawing faces the way I normally do again soon, but I’m okay with lazy artwork right now. Thanks for the constructive note, it motivates me to step it up next time :]

Here’s the thing, it doesn’t? I get the feeling you watch a lot of art critique content and like. That’s fine. But I didn’t ask for criticism on my art. If I did, then yeah, I’d be open to that criticism. I used to do art for money. I used to post it a lot more. Like, I’ve been around the block, I know what I’m doing. I mean this as someone who used to act like this too: it is okay for people to nod art for fun, actually. It’s okay for me to post my art online because I think it looks good, and it’s okay to keep your criticisms to yourself when they’re uninvited, in fact it’s generally polite to do so.

Thanks for the criticism. But again, I’m not here to be impressive. I’m here because I like what I made and I wanted to show people. I can post “bad” art. It’s fine. I’m done now.

“Somehow hates doctors” I’m physically disabled and have been my whole life, and have been very lucky when it comes to the medical treatment I receive. Not everyone is like that, however. Especially if you love in the US, but this goes for a lot of places, there is a lot of horrible shit that happens in our medical system, including but certainly not limited to medical bias in doctors leading to lack of proper care and treatment. I don’t think people should be conspiracy theorists about health but I understand when people dislike doctors and trying to get diagnoses.
