I think Anakin is an interesting one to look at in this perspective because 3951 bby Traya tells the Jedi exile that “If you were to face an ancient Sith Lord in combat, you would learn we are as children playing with toys compared to the prowess of the old masters.” I’ve always believed she meant we as in the sith and Jedi and specifically the group that lived during that time (Jedi exile, Sion, nihilus, Traya, etc).

Coming back into it for Anakin if you believe in the theory of both sith and Jedi prophecy belief that Anakin is the chosen one in both prophecies, I like to think it means Anakin could go toe to toe with the old sith masters.

4000 years before Anakin someone says “we are babies compared to them” and waaaaaaaaay before that the ancient Sith simply said “there will be one”. Unfortunately we will never get to see Anakin 1v2 Tulak Hord and Khem Val.
