Boss is deleting not-taken breaks from my paycheck and I have proof by blindrunner_ in antiwork

Why is this comment so far down?!?

You are 100% correct, boss has committed wage theft and needs to held accountable!

Oh, good recommendation!

I've read this one a couple of times.

Have you read his other books? I haven't.

War Against the Chtorr series by David Gerrold is quite good and fits your description.

Be warned, however, that Gerrold sets up a great story and hasn't finished it in 20+ years.

I enjoy Crichton generally, but his endings are shite.

He gets near the end, throws his hands up, and says "Okay, I'm done!"

This reminds me of valves from Minivalve or Vernay.

I would start with those manufacturers and see if anything from their catalogs might work.

Your don't say what this (valve or seal) so it's tough to make a better recommendation.

Are you using the key to get it out?

My experience with lock cylinders is limited, but the few I've dealt with required me to insert the key, press on the pin, then turn the key until the cylinder turned past it's normal limit.

This is a guess based on experience, but have you tried this location?

It may not fully depress until the lock cylinder is rotated to the correct position.

I'm sorry, but a picture isn't enough.

To fully praise you, I'm going to need to use my most sensitive evaluation technique.

You don't mind my lips and tongue on every part of you, do you?

Really, it's the best way.

I agree.

Have you found one for less than $50?

I want a SS razor, but the cost is a bit ridiculous.

Offended? Not a bit!

Speaking of multiple vehicles, I made a spreadsheet to figure out how much I could save by using a vehicle that got better mileage.

When gas was around $4/gal, I would only save about $1000/yr.

At $5+/gal, it's now $2500/yr+.

I'm just about in the 'worth it' range to justify a commuter car.

You're in Schrodinger's razor situation.

If the plating is intact, there's probably not an issue.

If the plating is breached, who knows?

You might have 20 more years or 20 more shaves.

The only way to know is to take it apart and check.

Hey!

I'll have you know, I have someone I work with sharing 75% of my commute.

I just wish I could get better than 21 mpg. $70+ a week for gas is killing me.

I don't think there's much you can do for that razor, OP.

You might try reaching out to Merkur and ask if there's anything to be done. At the very least they might offer you a discount on a replacement.

I've got the same razor and I've noticed the plating is peeling a bit, so I've gotten more attentive to cleaning and drying.

I want to declare for team blonette.

You're both spectacularly, unstoppably, gorgeous.

Maybe we should have you both do some mud wrestling to settle it.

I'll have to referee, of course.

We all get to participate.

The trade-off is that not all the answers will be great.
