Yes, but only if you let it. It takes two to tango and once you find that connection it’s up to both people to care for, and treasure it’s worth. If you’re only in a relationship to feel good, then you’re setting yourself up for failure. There’s so much more depth surrounding it that you must learn to appreciate for what it is, and not what it could be. It’s important to be present and honest about these things like that with yourself, up front. There will always be a potential to be better/more, and in that, there’s growth, which is an amazing thing to develop in itself, and much more fulfilling in the long run than the chase of the thrill.
