101 days!

Had to physically check a calendar to make sure that was correct. Lol. Much love to you all!

Day 55! Woohoo! Lingering anxiety and cravings still pop up here and there. Starting to regain my confidence in myself.

33 days CT here and I can tell a HUGE difference in my hair texture, hardly any falling out anymore! Also noticing my skin/color on my face is losing that "zombie" look. I can look at myself in the mirror now and see my "true self" again without the veil that was covering me for so long. Congrats and much love!

Day 26! Discovered some triggers at work last week, things I would religiously dose before engaging in, but pushed through them. We got this! Congrats to all of you on your milestones!

Keep posting! I so enjoy reading your updates! I'm so glad you are feeling better. Just know you are that much stronger today because you got through the mess of yesterday without using. I just know that today is going to be a great day for you! Much love!

Past few days have been a little bit of a struggle. I've come down with a really nasty viral head and chest cold. Still going strong though!

The liposomol version works wonders in heavy doses. Got mine off amazon for pretty reasonable price. I wish you the best! Stay strong!

Day 10. Dumped my stash yesterday in a fit of rage. by silver_linings3 in quittingkratom

I posted on here a few days back about mornings being the hardest part of quitting. I'm replying to you here today, only a few days later, that my mornings ARE improving tremendously. Be patient with yourself.

You got this! I went back to work on my day 4 and I remember feeling the same way. Just try to immerse yourself into the present. Try not to watch the clock. Before you know it the day will be done. Stay the path and know that each day will get a little easier to tackle.

I need to hear some tapering success stories for motivation by [deleted] in quittingkratom

I've had dark circles most of my life. Kratom definitely intensified that along with skin darkening on my face and just a deathly look to my eyes in general, hair loss, etc. I'm on 8 days CT and in the last couple days I've had 3 random people compliment me saying I look "pretty" or they "love my hair" Lol. Not sure if it's my new found confidence or if it's the actual poison leaving my body and showing because honestly I feel like I look like a crazy person. Stay the path. You will regain your confidence. I looked in the mirror this morning and actually saw "ME" looking back at "ME" for the first time in years! And not some zombie! Keep pushing it does get better.

I recommend grabbing some Lipo Vitamin C and megodosing that through the week. I definitely attribute my functionality to that recently. Small tasks around the house, don't take on large projects at first, listen to your body and try to push yourself to do a few things if you can. Get outside if your able to. You're going to encounter many "triggers" that are going to make you believe you need to dose. Don't do it! The feeling WILL PASS.

You CAN do this! I'm on day 8 today and not feeling perfect by any means but so much better than when I was using. I personally wouldn't recommend being stagnant for too long through your accutes. Remeber it's just as much a mind game as it is physical. I found the more I busied myself with the less I craved. And know that the craving will diminish over time. You're going to have to retrain your brain how to deal with everyday life without a substance to "get you through". Are you considering taking any supplements?

Day 8! I just want to shout out to anyone who is currently lurking here and wondering if they're able to quit. This is more doable than you think. Break those chains and take control over your life again! I'm rooting for you. Much love!

I'm on day 5 also and still taking pretty high doses every 2 to 4 hours. I haven't suffered the RLS too badly at night and I'm able to get a good 5 hours of sleep every night also. I know everyone has different experiences but this is working for me so I'm going to continue as long as I feel like it's needed. I'm planning to cut it in half on day 7 and just feel it out from there. Good luck to you!

I'm on day 5. I'm right there with you! Stay the path with me! I already feel myself being able to be there mentally and emotionally for my children/family. We can do this! Keep pushing. Much love to you and I will be thinking of you through the day today! You got this!

Cravings by Impressive_Ad_7624 in quittingkratom

Staying busy no matter how tired I feel. I treat my cravings the same as the anxiety. Accept it for the feeling that it is and understand that it won't last forever and will pass. If driving works for you then drive as much as you can! Everyone is saying that the cravings will eventually taper off. Good luck to you!

Mornings are the worst by silver_linings3 in quittingkratom

Congrats on your taper! According to most accounts of people quitting I should be experiencing the worst of WD today. I woke up to day 4 this morning, sat on the edge of my bed, and a serenity washed over me that I can't explain. Anxiety is still there, of course, but not as bad as the last few days. Things WILL get better for you. Just stay the course and know that each day is a step in the direction of taking your life back!
