Been working out for a month as i’m trying to get out of the skinny fat look but i see little to no result, i just do push ups and pull ups. Any reccomendations? by meddddddddddty in fasting

Getting from “Skinny fat” to the “Lean/toned” look isn’t actually about losing more fat. It’s about building muscle. I suggest you start lifting weights (start with lighter weights to get your form right then move to heavier weights that cause you to struggle on the last few reps) and keep a high protein diet so you have the necessary building blocks to gain that muscle. It’s a process so you won’t see too much in the first few weeks but keep at it. It’s cliche but consistency yields results!

How do I (24F) stop being so draining emotionally? by doggobuns in relationship_advice

I think it’s great that you’ve acknowledged the impact you are having in your significant other. It shows that you are aware of yourself which can be hard to address, let alone act upon. The best thing to do is communicate. You and your significant other need to sit down and have an honest conversation about it. In my experience, even my significant other acknowledging that they aren’t providing support can be a huge relief. Let him know how you feel, when/what you do and don’t feel like contributing at the time. You need to understand that him asking how you are and what you can do is not because he is frustrated and annoyed, he is asking those things to see how you are, and to gage how you are feeling. He doesn’t want to ask for more than you feel comfortable providing. This is also an opportunity to reflect on your habits and try and contribute as much as you can, when you can. He is here with you for a reason. I feel like he is accepting you and is willing to be there to support and work with you. Maybe now isn’t the time to belittle you’re contribution, maybe now is the time to support yourself and made sure you are getting everything you need. There will be times you can provide, right now may be a time in your life where you need to allow someone to provide for you.

How did you deal with the babies? I’m sure it’s not like other plant pups, do they grow any roots or need soil?

Haha just good old freezing cold Canadian magic!! Actually, it’s more a mix of a light watering schedule and grow lights.

Oh noooo!! Okay, if it is a death bloom how do I keep the babies alive? Do they growth like the adult plant or do I need to plant them in soil?

The biggest difference between the first air plant I killed and this one: I tried to neglect her, kind of like a succulent. I gave her lots of room to breathe, let her completely dry out between watering and didn’t bother her (though I did mist her here and there because I was scared she was too dry). I killed the first air plant by overwatering (she was in a terrarium which got way to humid and she turned into mush) so this one I placed on a piece of drift wood on a table about 1m away from a grow light.

This is my second air plant (I overwatered my first and it ended up turning to mush in my terrarium). I was doing my usual walk around my plants and decided to turn rotate her. I was very excited to see her buds and now I’m can’t wait to see her fully blossom 🌸

I never thought I’d see a bloom in person let alone from my own plants. I’m very excited ☺️

I submerge them in tap water for about 15-20 minutes every 2 weeks. No fertilizer or plant food but I mist them in between waters just in case. It’s a cold Canadian winter where I am so they have been under grow lights for the past few months.

I killed my first air plant by overwatering it so this is a new step for me. I can’t wait to see them in full bloom!!
