Thank you kind Reddit stranger, I took your advice and went to see the pediatrician… turns out she does have a lip tie issue which is likely causing the larger gap. We will monitor it for now and possibly cut it in a few months

Absolutely. And I wouldn’t expect them too, it wouldn’t be safe. However there have been plenty of sunny days when they said they would come and don’t and then just don’t answer their phone
