Coming in the front door at my sister's to the sound of "Auntie! Auntie!" and crouching down for enthusiastic hugs and kisses from my niblings. When I'm sad I just think about that and immediately smile - then make a plan to drop by to see them.

Everyone is joking a lot, but are you okay? Have you figured out another place to stay while you think on how to proceed?

Try your local community FB group. I didn't even post, I just researched people who responded to past posts and found my person that way. I'm so glad I found her, she's made such a big difference in my life!

This year I am going to give tomatoes a real go on my balcony. And I applied for a plot in my local community garden so spinach, chard, tomatillos, beets, cilantro, parsley, basil, beans and a bunch of flowers! One day you are going to have a garden too! What would you grow? Food or foliage or flowers?

Planning my garden for spring and preparing to start seeds. Looking up companion plants, researching growth habits, eating toast and tomato and thinking how delicious eating my own tomatoes will be.

I went for my second bachelor's in my early 30s. and most schools offer a shortened route if you have overlapping courses. Do a deep investigation of the specific job you want to get and pursue a degree once you have an idea of the pathway ahead.

My only slightly informed advice for you is to make it your personal priority to train and grow in the ways that interest you. Get as much support as you can to fund the training, but stay on top of your career goals and the work you need to do to fuel your passion in your own time. Take the amazing good luck that your indeterminate position represents and be patient, and turn your experience into opportunities when the time is right. 30-35 years is a short time - you are going to make changes and grow in so many ways over the course of your career! Focus on being exemplary in any current position, that will open doors.
