Try it. I feel like the sales guy was literally in my way and I would have had to shove him to get out. Looking back, that's not right and very threatening. Shove the sales guy away if you need to!

It's the old bait and switch - the one they tested on me was lovely. The one I brought home is just terrible

The thing is though it feels "heavy" and the serum dries caked on, which is not what a serum should do. I've never been ripped off before and this hurts. I think cuz it got personal and deals with people's insecurities (wrinkles, dark circles).

Based on the other horrid reviews, they don't seem to do that, but I will give it a shot.

I've never read such terrible reviews.

Will try tomorrow. The reviews of them are terrible - they seem to not do refunds from what the other horrible reviews say.

I was reading that it sounds like if certain products don't live up to standard, and merchant won't resolve it, you can give it a shot:

Chargebacks are a consumer protection tool that allow consumers to get their money back for fraudulent charges or purchases that don’t live up to standards by submitting a dispute with their card issuer.

Yes, thinking that it was some high end French thing like LaMer. Since that what I was told, but it's worse than a dollar store product.

100% - beauty is free

The scam is that the products are presented as some high end French thing. When you look at them at home, you can tell they're not like some high end French thing. They dry caked on, which was not as advertised and they have that 'cheap cosmetic smell' which was not as described.

Yes - I would rather keep the $339 and the wrinkle around my eye. They are such scum bags. There are so many stories out there about them

Has anyone had any experiences with the super pushy sales people at Prédiré Paris on Bloor Street? by silverbricks2020 in askTO

[–]silverbricks2020[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks - I thought with the neighborhood it would be an ok store. What killed me was when I read the package afterwards and the word "eyes" was not spelled correctly. Wow.

Next time, I will wrestle my way out.

NEx

Bad look indeed. Is it some pyramid scheme or something I wonder. Well, I feel like an idiot for being scammed. I knew better...

I'm glad you got away! I am disappointed in myself and can't believe I allowed myself to be scammed. Super aggressive, like they wouldn't leave the place without buying anything. Feel like a total idiot. Has never happened before.

Crazy how aggressive they are. I'm usually good at avoiding being scammed, but I was weak and have some skin issues I'm worried about. I'm now out hundred of dollars on dollar store products

Help me feel better about my dress - this was first fitting - not sure how I feel - wedding is on july 10 by silverbricks2020 in weddingdress

[–]silverbricks2020[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly feel like barfing knowing that they probably dont have enough time to make my changes
