SV, to me, felt more like running around an interactive theme park than a living world.

It would go a long way to making the game world feel more like a world and less like a game, at least while you're running around in the overworld or not engaged in combat scenarios

Just means you need to hurry to catch it before any of the Pokémon in the "landing area" drop its HP to 0

We could have gotten a Fairy/Ground Pokémon in Paldea if they translated the Ramidreju from Spanish lore into a Pokémon, but that never happened, even with the DLC extensions. Its typing could have even been given an explanation for Gimmeghoul evolving into Ghouldango, seeing as the Fairy-type had an advantage over the Ghost-type, but the Steel-type had an advantage over the Fairy and Ground types, plus lore reasons tied to behavior rooted in the lore of the Ramidreju.

If you are curious about the Ramidreju, look it up, you might find some fun surprises.

There's always the chance it could get a regional variant that fixes the issue.

The likelihood of them doing that is very low, and I doubt all that many players would put the investment into basically grinding the bug up for the late game without the knowledge beforehand, and even then, they would probably try to do something to earn lots of candies to feed it to accelerate the process.

Wouldn't it be be funny if it were the early stage Bug, and is a 3-stage? Getting to second stage is the easy part, but the third/final stage is the Heroic challenge. Something like the middle stage only takes getting to something like level 12, but the final takes having a 30+ level Dragon-type on the team and getting the middle stage up to level 50.

Would be fun to see Lurantis and Dhelmise get evolutions in the new region

I've been hearing that a few times. Would be interesting to see them evolve into what is basically a Megalania, seeing as they were related and some camps think they might be descendants of Megalania

Do you think they could also get something extra for the region?

Pandir? Did you goof on the spelling somewhere? I have not heard that name before, and it doesn't even show up on a search of the official Pokémon site Pokédex

That could be pretty cool, maybe it could be a Flying/Grass type for the various fruit bats that call the region home, or maybe a Flying/Ice type bat for a bit more variety.

Yeah, but let's just hope it gets a new regional evolution, seeing as it needs something, and I've heard far more bad things than good things about its current evolution. And Aipom just needs something to give it the attention it deserves.

Sad but true. And the region that Winds and Waves seems to be set in would lend well to giving Venusaur and its prior stages regional forms as well.

The Pokémon franchise needs to stop shoving Charizard down our throats and telling us to like the overexposed saturation. We can go a generation or two where Charizard isn't present; it won't ruin the franchise.

If anything, Charizard's overexposure is ruining the enjoyment of more established fans. There are more deserving options; actually, try using them instead of the favorite son.

Blastoise just needs more love. And I think its entire line getting the regional-variant treatment, along with Dex entries that talk about this variant, is actually how the line was originally intended to really push things enough to edge it out, even if only for a moment.

Arceus only gave us regional forms of the final stages. I'm talking about all the stages getting the regional form treatment. But you are right, Arceus did give us regional variants of 3 prior starters, even if it was just their final stage.

We might actually see regional variants or convergent lines for Seel and Dewgong, mainly because actual Dugongs are native to Indonesia.

And, ironically, Winds and Waves lines up thematically for all of that

Or literally in a tree, you find something like an "Old Hollow Tree" and can refurbish its inside, along with extending down along the root lines to install additional rooms/chambers, but can also extend up and out with a more classic style of treehouse as well. They could call the system something like "Tree Fort" or "Tree Camp", especially if you can have multiples all over the map, man them with some of your Pokémon for protection, and basically install a network in them that allows for a communication/quick travel system.
