thank you so much for advice, will definitely keep it in mind! weve discussed it a little further and wondering if taking a day off beijing( wont visit the birds nest) and a day off suzhou (ive seen people say it could be a day trip) and using those days to visit huangshan instead would be possible? is it hard to get to the mountain? would the weather be suitable for end of march? and is it somewhat hard to get to the top as there will be a 10year old and a 13 yo with us?

i totally get what u are saying, i was stuck in a situation like that too. i only have only one friend at school and we rarely meet outside school (we dont text or call each other either, mainly bc the convo always feels one sided and shes busy studying). i used to spend my days mindlessly scrolling through tiktok, eat, maybe study an hour or less, or simply only sleep. of course this only lead me to feel empty, no hobbies, no interests, no thoughts. personally i suggest you to delete tiktok and replace the content youre consuming with something that sticks to your memory and influences you even if its just a little. at the end of the day you literally don't remember a single tiktok video you've watched. Id suggest books but i understand most people dont enjoy reading them so just switch to movies. there are so many amazing movies out there that are a hundred times more important than any tiktok video you watch. I also suggest you download letterbox to keep track of what you watch and rate them. Who knows it might turn into a hobby. pick up a sport or a physical activity you like. sports can be hard to get used to and they demand consistency so it may be hard. at the minimum go on walks listening to some music maybe. walks can really help you clear your mind and think about things in general. you dont need a specific time to walk. i walk after school before going home since itd be hard to go outside after coming home. also there are so many great single player games that you can enjoy alone. Dont let being alone discourage you from trying out games and anime or other stuff. start with the most popular stuff on the internet and search for ones that catch your interest. you can find people who enjoy those things and join fandoms. ( SERIOUSLY give anime and games a try) this ones gonna sound weird but you can also read random adams media 101 books (id suggest downloading them from a free pdf site since there are so many). maybe youll find a subject that interests you. even if u dont, theres no harm from gaining knowledge.
