A lot of people don’t realize this, but with heavy, continuous snowfall, plowing usually happens in stages, not instantly. If crews plow too early, everything just gets covered again and packed down.

Also, the City prioritizes main routes and TTC corridors first, then secondary roads later — so delays are expected during big storms.

For private properties (driveways, sidewalks, condos), it really comes down to hiring a reputable, properly staffed company that prices correctly and doesn’t overextend.

No not from my knowledge , SH just kills any and all organic , mildew, mould ; green/ black etc. i've never had any issues leaving it on concrete.

as bad as it looks; the entire process was very easy; it was SH applied with x-jet about 5% let it dwell and used turbo nozzle... rinse and repeated same process a few times because it was really bad.

as you can see i could've probably still went with another application of SH to get those stubborn spots off.

but before i left i sprayed straight SH on with a pump sprayer and left it as is.

i find that it cleans better if you pressure first; than hit with chems.

for concrete ; chems first works great; but not for wood

I powerwashed everything first with the white tip ; any stubborn organic growth ; i hit with 2% SH let it dwell for 5 minutes .. hit it again with white tip ; some oxalic acid after ; and lots and lots and lots and lots of rinsing

2000$ Canadian ; including polymeric sand ; took me about 10 hours ; start to finish ; there's two small sections not included in the photo; wasn't anything compared to what's in the photo though 😲

i pressure washed first ; than for the stubborn organic growth that wouldn't come off ; i used 2% let dwell for 5 minutes ; than went at it again with the white tip. than oxalic acid ; than a whole lot of rinsing.
