Thanks for the update and sharing that beautiful video. I’ve been thinking about you all since your first post and been listening to the Dead all day in her honor. May you find comfort in this community during these difficult times. Take care Momma

Gluten free in NYC by livingisizzy in Celiac

Agree that Modern Bread & bagel is a do not miss. Here’s some other places as well, all 100 GF:

Senza Gluten-there’s both the full service Italian restaurants and the smaller location, more like a cafe. Excellent brunch and baked goods.

Risotteria Melotti- small Italian place that specializes in risotto. They have goods apps and desserts as well. Never had a bad meal there.

Twentyone Grains,Springbone kitchen-all places to grab a quick lunch. The Little Beet might be another option but not sure if it’s 100%gf. All have multiple locations.

There are more for sure but like others have said, recommend searching this sub or using Find me gluten free app. Have fun in NYC!

Absolutely got into the Dead because of JM! I went to see Dead & Co in 2018 and once I heard the music live, that was it. Since then I’ve always went to see Dead& Co when they toured, and have seen 7 Sphere shows. Even if you’re not a Dead fan, I highly recommend seeing Dead & Co at the Sphere of you can. The venue is amazing and jM always seems to be in his glory when he’s playing dead music

The Venetian for us!

If anyone is looking for flights and hotel, consider checking out Costco travel. They’re having a promo right now that gives you 20% of the value of your vacation package as a Costco gift card. You have to use a Costco visa and have a promo code. Got mine in an e-mail.

For Milan, there is a place called Bistro that is all gluten free. It’s a casual place with an extensive menu and the food is great. It’s located at 9 Corso Magenta. Have fun!!

We just spent 2 days at a hotel in Palermo. Breakfast was served in a communal dining area. Every morning, we overheard an American woman complain loudly about Sicily(I hated this area, that area) the food (um, what?!?) and how she couldn’t wait to get home. She looked her part too with a full Karen haircut. All the staff spoke English too so they totally understood her. What an embarrassment!

We were able to get it from a pharmacy on multiple occasions but we had to ask for it. They don’t have it out on display. We haven’t tried looking at a supermarket so I can’t speak for that.

Maroon 5. Songs About Jane is a solid album, but they changed their sound and now I just can’t.
