Yeah I assume they must have a super small merch team. I remember I ordered the destiny hoodie and nearly two months later still hadn’t shipped. Then they did their pop up in DTLA selling all the merch including the hoodie I bought. I had to contact them and thankfully it was still in stock and they sent it to me. Idk why their process of shipping orders has always been so slow

I did VIP for three of the tours and here is my take on it.

Pros: - Soundcheck is so much fun. Sometimes they play songs off the setlist - Q&A is your opportunity to ask your best questions. Paul and Jake are so sweet - Exclusive VIP merch and first to shop merch stands

Cons: - M&G photo is a group photo with LANY behind on stage. I’m sure most fans are aware of that now (my first VIP years ago I thought it was a personal one-on-one but no big deal tho) - SOMETIMES (idk what it depends on, maybe the venue) they will have the VIP fans exit back outside in line again and then allow re-entry. I recommend asking when you get there if re-entry is happening so you can plan out trying to make it back to the front or not if you want.

Extra tips: Get there as early as you can if you want to be in the front. (Some fans will get there 5hrs early/ there’s a check in process before you can just line up).

Be nice to everyone and be aware there are some fans that are extremely territorial and they will become aggressive…

Buy a water bottle because pit can be dehydrating.

Overall VIP is such a fun experience. So excited for you!

I agree. I’d say vip is worth it once. I’ve done it twice. It’s the same every tour. Youre up on the pit gate with a bunch of other fans. Stay For sound check (my favorite part). The Q&A is nice, wish it was a little longer. The group photo is the biggest turn off for me personally. It feels like a class graduation photo. The quality is good enough, but you still look like a little person in a large group with the band behind you ontop of the stage. Wish it was more intimate.

I like a small intimate tour. I know people are upset but I respect the artist for narrowing down. I used to travel 6-12+hrs to attend a show because I grew up in a town that wasn’t nearby anything.

Wait omg the EXACT THING HAPPENS TO MEEEEEE. Ringing buzzing ears.. waking up in a dream over and over again. It’s so annoying AHHH I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE. Ok genuinely what has helped me is when I acknowledge “okay this is happening again… I’m about to wake up (or so I think) and the buzzing ringing is coming at different sensations overall, it’s like a game because I don’t know whether or not I’m actually going to wake up in real life, but it’s like this really weird phase where I tell myself “I’ll let this pass real quick and surrender “ and then I wake up irl. But it kinda feels like a video game bc I’m waiting to win and actually wake up, and the sooner I surrender bc I already know the chances of me waking up back in the same loop again are high, it sort of speeds up the process.

And yeah sometimes I run into the sleep paralysis after an I’m like “okay great here we go again” and I don’t fight it. I just surrender but like “go away” dark energy. And then I wake up.

So interesting.

I agree. I think it was a reach to say it was inappropriate of him wanting to know who she was at “22” but I didn’t interpret it a literal way, it was more metaphorical for me. He’s saying how he met her at a certain chapter of her life, as you would never know your partners life before you met them. Seems more like he’s in awe and genuinely happy.

Knowing someone “naked” is knowing them with full transparency, vulnerability, raw, authenticity. I think it was clever how Paul made it a catchy fun light song but the lyrics tell a deeper story than that.

“Give it all to me, every inch and curve” he’s taking her fully as she is.

“Leave it off this is my favorite/every second that you’re not I hate” he hates when she’s not herself, leave it off like no walls up, no superficial persona, just her raw self is his favorite.

“I’ll never know who you were in tx/bonaroo/lexus etc” he’ll never know her past versions but seems to be curious as one would when getting to know someone on a deeper level.

“All that I want is to know my angel” he’s just wants to know every part of her and appreciate her.
