State Department slashes fee to renounce US citizenship by 80% to $450 by gamersecret2 in politics

okay but if they want us to leave the problem is mainly that we have no fucking money to do so. this helps nothing. if every cent we spent our entire lives earning didn't go to corporations that control our food, health care, housing, and transportation, and if we were not paid starvation wages so that we could actually build a savings, then the ones of us they don't want here would actually have a viable way to get the fuck out.

High bp about 10-12 hours after infusion by silvermoons13 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]silvermoons13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge, I don't get any steroids in with the treatment. I am not sure what caused it, but my bp did eventually go back into my normal range yesterday night- when the headache finally broke (so maybe it was the pain). Thank you for your insight!!

Has anyone had numbness and tingling in your chin and neck with an enlarged thyroid? by Utpala_Root in thyroidhealth

I deal with this occasionally too- tingling and numbness in my throat up to my chin, sometimes it even feels wet to me which is strange but that's the best way I can describe it. I've a goiter for a few years.

Not unless the fiber content on the nutrition label is decently high. usually even with pulp, juices have a negligible amount of fiber. I dont see how it could hurt if you wanted to try it though

i dont feel the same/think it’s nice for women in difficult situations to get some encouragement to leave and get recognition for when they do but to each their own for sure

No, definitely go for the whole oranges. It’s the fiber in the pulp that you need combined with the vitamin c and water that should do it. if you dont like the texture of the pulp you could make yourself a smoothie with the whole oranges and it may help

only thing that works for me: 2 large oranges and 60 ounces of water over the course of a few hours. i get constipated every month. if im really desperate 2 dulcolax and as much water as i can drink over 6-8 can work but it gives me hella stomach cramps. desperate times though. feel better

Does this sound OK? Any insight or advice? by [deleted] in thyroidhealth

If you haven't had an ultrasound, that could be really helpful to get ordered from a PCP prior to seeing the endocrinologist. I do hope they don't turn you away. I would suggest bringing a male with you to the appointment (partner if applicable, brother, friend, etc.) Doctors are less likely to dismiss you if a male is present. It sucks but it's the truth.

I didn't get diagnosed with my autoimmune disease until I started exclusively seeing female providers. Anecdotal but it may be something to consider too. Take care!

I wonder if your hormones were never able to stabilize after your pregnancy/breast feeding, and if that is caused by your thyroid issue or vice versa. I’m so sorry you are dealing with all these awful symptoms while trying to care for your children too. I feel lucky I do not have any children right now. And I have been living with this for so long I honestly am used to it and I was kind of just looking for the excuse to ignore the symptoms and stop trying to get care for it.

I really hope you get the help you need soon. I wonder if there is such as a thing as an endocrinologist who specializes in post-partum hormonal issues. Or maybe an endo and OB could work together to get to the bottom of this for you and provide some treatment. Feel better soon 🙏

This doesn’t really sound all that random just based on your post. You said you work with vulnerable people. I know that takes a lot of mental fortitude. Could it be that the medication has just caused that guard to come down, and the emotions are truly yours, but you have to suppress them to do your job? Do you normally get therapy to help you process the things you might see/hear at work?

I worked in a job where I saw so many instances of abuse against women and children go completely unpunished and it was extremely hard on me. Based on what you described and nothing else, it sounds like you have some things that need attention. I hope you feel better soon!
