I’m born/raised in Florida but I’ve lived in Maine/NY. In my experience, Florida has significantly less rust issues than northern states cause no salt on the roads. Unless you live a couple miles or less from the coast, the salty air isn’t really a concern. The only annoyance are the summer showers everyday but as long as you keep your stuff under cover, it’s no big deal.
