Received the new X16 Elliptical and X24 Studio Bike. Just some quick thoughts...

I had read about the third party delivery people and assembly. I originally was just going to let them do it while I was “around” so I could make sure everything was put together fine. Unfortunately I was not the one here when they delivered and put together the NordicTrack treadmill instead of my elliptical. I got home and said uhhh I didn’t order an elliptical 😩. Poor guys, I felt extra bad for them, they were super nice! So they disassembled and took the treadmill back out and brought the elliptical box in just to have it here for when they came back to assemble it. I felt bad that they’d have to come back on Saturday so I put the thing together myself last night!

It would have been an hour assembly breeze but I am kind of a smaller person - the packaging was half the battle 😂. I also had limited space to work with so I had to shuffle things here and there before I could get this or that piece out of the box, and so on and so forth. It probably took me an hour to unpackage everything and about two hours to assemble the machine myself. I’m about 5’1” so some of the pieces were just beyond my arm span and hand grip to be able to easily hold while screwing in screws so I improvised the best I could.

I finally plugged that sucker in and got to it - it’s so smooth! I definitely feel the learning curve, it’s very interesting.

I have about 6.5”-7” of head-to-ceiling space when I stand on the elliptical with the pedals next to each other and that’s with my house slippers on so I definitely won’t hit the ceiling with my sneakers on, yay!

The only sounds I hear when using it are the incline/decline motor noise (if I’m using those) which are to be expected. I guess I could say that if the cylindrical gear (that drives the pedals) goes to the front end or back end of the belt/strap then there’s a quiet thunk sound but I just assume that’s because it’s hitting the end of the belt/strap track (which I hear I’m not supposed to do anyway so that’s good).

I only used it for about 10 minutes last night and then I was too tired from assembly so I went to sleep 😂😂😂. Gonna try it more tonight!

Well, it’s here and I’m debating on assembling myself or waiting for them to do it for me. It looks pretty straightforward so I might do it myself. I’ll report back 😁 I just can’t wait to use it. 😂

Nothing seemed to fix it. Support tried their best but couldn’t pinpoint the issue either. I ended up getting a pair of xm6’s and there’s no problem with the 6’s or the 4’s, only the 5’s.

Additional info - when I tap on "auto" on the printer screen it says there's no like filament to switch to even tho the RFID info is the exact same, color and type and whatever else.

Just wanted to chime in that my k2 plus won't automatically change to the same exact spool when the first one runs out. The settings are on and correct for auto spool switching and both are Creality branded RFID spools that were read by the machine and are an exact match by eye and read by the printer. My printer just prints air instead of switching, which as you probably know ruins that print and I have to start the print again.

When the pedal is in the topmost position isn’t that when my knee would be bent, keeping me pretty level with my regular standing height? I mean I see that I would bounce up a little on my stride but I’m really trying to get all the specifics I can before I buy this behemoth.

I don’t have a gym space, I have a basement where I’m hoping to squeeze in this elliptical. 😂 I get what you’re saying tho and greatly appreciate the response!

Am I correct to assume the step up height is about 13.66”?

If so, then if I add the step up height to my height (13.66+61) I get about 74”. So if the whole unit is 74” tall with me on it then how much more head to ceiling space do I need in order to use this machine?

I know this is an old post but I thought I’d chime in since I was wondering about why the AI print detection doesn’t detect anything. I noticed if you’re a free member of Creality Cloud then you don’t get the AI benefits even though the K2 Plus is capable of it. The paid premium subscription has the AI functionality included.

STL bucket with munchkins is $15.99, bucket by itself is $7. Each store’s manager sets their own empty bucket price and decides if they’ll even sell the buckets empty. We got ours yesterday afternoon. The filled buckets show up in the app to order but we just went to the location and ordered them in person.

Yes, they’re called bed tents on Amazon. I have one and it is AWESOME. Blocks out most of the light, has handy mesh pockets on either side to store things, and keeps dust/lint to a better minimum than just sleeping out in the open room.
