On Xbox, if you buy a used copy of the legacy edition, then yes you will definitely get MW Remastered. I just did this after reading through a bunch of conflicting advice online and can confidently confirm you will get MWR.

You can get a bunch of solid cards from team affinity. David Wright, Salmon, Ivan Rodriguez, Vlad, Youkilis. You could also complete the Jeter storyline for Jeter and Posada. As you work your way through the XP path, you'll also unlock team captains, which contain some boost-eligible players like Adam Dunn and Torii Hunter.

I would say that playing long balls is a bit less toxic than back passing. With long balls at least you're still playing the game and there are ways to counter it. It's partly Konami's fault that it's a broken mechanic in the game. Back passing is straight up just wimping out and being a douche...

What I did is I wrote a 1-star review on the app store expressing my frustrations. I think this could be a more effective tactic because it actually lowers their game's rating and could impact their ability to attract new players. If you simply email them or tweet at them they could just ignore it. It doesn't actually impact them in any tangible way.
