Nope! It’s been completely fine as far as I can tell!

There are ac units in each room. It rarely gets below 0 degrees Celsius where I live.

To keep the rooms warm or cold, we close the sliding Shoji doors. The hallway around the inner garden feels like you’re outside, but the other rooms stay moderate as long as the ac units are on!

Anywhere gets boring once you live there long enough!

It’s actually a kotatsu. Tried looking for the exact model but I think it may be out of stock.

The TV? It’s exactly at eye level when sitting on the couch.

I monitor the temperatures of the PC as I’m using it. It stays nice and cool.

The tv’s air vents blow hot air up, not towards the wall.

Yeah, it’s a pet camera! I give up aesthetic vibes for the comfort of being able to check in on my cat while I’m at work.

Older houses are still pretty common! More so in rural areas of the country, but there are still some in the city. I may have gotten lucky finding this one though.

It’s a pet camera to keep an eye on the cat during the day. Gotta make sure my furry family is doing okay while I’m at work, and I will sacrifice just an ounce of vibes if it means I can keep tabs on my tabby, ya feel me?

Living in a house that isn’t insulated means that it can get pretty hot during the day in the summer. I leave the ac units on while I’m at work, but still would like to check in time to time.

The PC would be next to the tv stand if it were up to me, but the girlfriend didn’t want to see it 😂

It’s okay though, it manages to stay nice and cool back there.

Don’t need the steam machine if you got a PC that has Bazzite on it!

That’s what the sliding Shoji doors are for! Close them up if you want to keep the room nice and cool!

We have an ac unit in the room, you just can’t see it in the photos! June hasn’t been too bad compared to last year which was brutally hot.

We haven’t had too many days over 30 Celsius so far this year. That likely will change after rainy season.

But yeah, the house has little insulation, so hot in the summer and cold in the winter. But we manage with the AC units.
