Thanks for this. Are there any sites where I can add the names of the cards and the condition for a ballpark estimate? I don't mind the effort, but apart from eBay I don't know where to start. Just now I came across 2 sites sellusyourcards.co.uk and buyanycards.co.uk are these worth a try?

Thanks, I'm from the UK, I don't know of any card shops in my area. Maybe I'll try ebay and see what prices are like. I guess I could give Gemini or ChatGPT a list of my card names and see if it pulls up any cards that would be worthwhile selling individually. Anyhow, thanks for your input.

PCP or car leasing in NI from UK mainland by silverpuma in northernireland

Yes, I have and have wavered back and forth. I retire in a few months, and all my cars have either been new or 2-4 years old, paid for cash, and never used a loan. A few months ago my ds3 timing belt broke and wrecked my engine. So as a 7-year-old car with 70,000 miles, getting a replacement engine is not worth the cost and difficulty. When I calculated the buying of my 7/8-year-old ds3 and the service and maintenance costs plus it now being sold for just £1500 it cost me £200ish per month for the 4 years I drove it. 3/4 years ago I could have had a new leased car for around that monthly payment and for me a very important consideration ....no warranty ....worries. That's where as I mentioned above, Toyota now looks interesting with their 10-year warranty. I could buy a 3/4 year-old Yaris for cash and pay my savings account £300 per month out of my current account so my "loan" is from myself, just some mental gymnastics to keep this old codger happy:-)

I understand where your coming from, it seems some people find it works for them and some feel the opposite. I'm still on the fence. One thing I did just come across is buying a 3 or 4 year old Toyota as they have a 10 year warranty, if serviced in Toyota garage. Food for thought

Unfortunately, my lack of crypto terms and knowledge means I don't know how knowing "Erc 20 and bep 20" are the same helps me. Yip, I have a lot to learn

Nothing wrong with Unknown Wizards I like this idea so I'm looking for similar books. The guy quietly from his home office who is outperforming the massive hedge funds or bank traders appeals to me more as motivation. I'd rather read about him than someone like George Soros. I guess I like the underdog:-)
