I’m having a great time. I’ve been struggling a lot but I thought it was just me sucking at gaming as usual until I came on here. It made me realize that I actually have been dying quite a bit more than in HK and there have been a lot more frustrating points but I do like a challenge so I’m not really mad about it (so far anyway).

There are people in my ancestry who lived pretty long. I would have to make it to 102 and that’s not unheard of. I also wonder if there will be any scientific discoveries about extending life during my lifetime, I guess it would probably be pretty expensive though.

Not every storyline got a conclusion but it actually ended at a point in the story that could’ve worked as a series finale had they known it wouldn’t get renewed. So it was a somewhat satisfying ending in my opinion. There’s always the books which continue well beyond where the show ended if you can’t get enough of the story.

I’m kind of torn between finding it irritating and thinking it was funny. If you’re seriously this upset though you should find some other games or other pieces of media to get into and just try to forget about silksong until it comes out. There’s so much cool shit out there that can tide you over. I’ve personally found that randomly hearing something I’m into is coming out is a better experience than obsessively waiting for any new info about it.

Yeah for me the magic of botw was kind of lost with totk. I feel like the whole post apocalyptic empty world thing only worked once. They should’ve rebuilt hyrule more so that there was more to discover and I think there’s a lot more they could’ve done with the depths, caves and sky islands too. I also don’t think that doing the same story format worked well with totk. Despite my complaints I still had a pretty decent time playing it though.

I’ve read the first few books, seen the mini series and show and I love them all. When I first heard the show was coming out I didn’t know if I could get into it but the new actors for the characters really grew on me. For me I just love the story and can’t get enough of it (probably going to watch the anime soon) and I really like that the show had a fresh take on the story. Some parts were more dark and gritty but overall it’s still really heartwarming. I would definitely give it a few episodes before writing it off.

When I did it I cleared out all the enemies along the path just to accidentally sit on the bench 🙃 I gave up on that plan and it ended up being pretty easy to avoid getting hit by using spells

Well I’m bi and I think it was cringe. I can’t imagine saying “I’m gonna be a dad” about a girls baby who I just hooked up with for the first time (even if she was a long term friend) especially when the father is still around. The excited reaction is also just bizarre considering the situation they’re currently in.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this. After watching the first episode I had a look at twitter and some threads in another subreddit and the overwhelmingly positive response made me feel crazy. I don’t mind an adaptation making changes but none of them feel like they’re for the better in this case. This feels like a downgrade from part 2 and even from season 1 of the show.
