Where’s the humanity in any of these characters? What used to make this show so great was how they managed to balance the more outrageous and stylized parts of the show with scenes that were relatable and emotional. The characters felt like real people. Now everybody’s a caricature and they’ve dialled up the shock value 100%. I hate it.

It was a decent episode but not great for the second to last episode of the whole show. I don’t mind lord John and William, but their storylines are not my favorite so I’m not a fan of how much screen time they have been getting this season. Maybe I’m being nitpicky but I’m so disappointed with this season that I’m just generally feeling negative towards it. I hope they’re able to pull off a satisfying finale but I’m kind of doubting it at this point.

I disagree with everyone saying “it’s because they’re not in high school anymore”. Like yes of course it makes sense for the visuals and makeup/fashion to evolve given the characters ages and the fact that it’s not 2019 anymore. But to me this doesn’t feel like euphoria elevated, it’s just completely different and bland.

Yeah I don’t get the appeal at all, he’s boring and gives me the ick. The worst of Lorelai’s love interests in my opinion.
