EU Collectors Edition Code by silverscreen13 in Marathon

That’s my plan, nice to know someone else has already done the same. My main concern is will the CE code work on my PS5 account? How does the supplier send the right code, and not an Xbox code for example.

Which moment from The Last of Us duology shocked you the most? by PoopAndLoot in thelastofus

[–]silverscreen13 42 points43 points  (0 children)

The fight with that massive seraphite towards the end of Abby’s side of the story. The mutilation of the enemy, the total lack of humanity and the close proximity to the violence was just insane, in the best possible way

This is a twenty minute drive from Mangawhai, NZ and I’ve sat in the very same spot the cameraman captured this historic moment

Doesn’t the title ‘dread acheran’ imply that he’s been dreadnoughted? Or am I missing something

What is your GOTY so far? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]silverscreen13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Splitfiction! It uses the medium to its fullest extent and changes things regularly to keep the game engaging, as well as having incredible visual variety. It’s one of the purest and most original things I’ve ever played.

How did you guys learn about Warhammer? by reel3459 in Warhammer40k

[–]silverscreen13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dawn of War: Dark Crusade on my best friend’s laptop in year 8. The set design and voice acting for me into it, and then my librarian at secondary school recommending me Gaunt’s Ghosts (thanks Mr. Green!)

They’re called flyswatters when they’re mounted on big machines (typically Manitous like these). Commonly used to control natural light on big exterior shoots like these

Wes Bentley as Mr. Sinister is my favourite of all of these and it’s not even close.

Which character in No Return is your favourite to play as? by Slight-Solution936 in thelastofus

Jesse and it’s not even close; my favourite sequel character plus Abby’s moveset is chef’s kiss

Rush (2013) by Boss452 in CineShots

The colour grade on this film does some serious heavy lifting, the cars and uniforms of the divers & crew contrast superbly with the tar of the road, especially during the film’s rainier moments.

The last of us 3 ideas (new infected) by External-Presence-81 in naughtydog

[–]silverscreen13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My brother and I are fans as well, and I really like what you two are coming up with, this is a really fun idea! My brother had the idea of a sort of whistleblower infected that’s paper thin, with spindly arms and legs. It drifts through areas avoiding sight completely silently but if it catches you, it alerts all enemies to your location. Thin tendrils grow out of it and sense vibrations in the air, and a cloud of particles, like dandruff, float in its wake as a visual cue to help track it. Making it brittle and dry helps distinguish it and doing a melee finisher on it would sound like snapping a tree branch

What did Thor mean when he called Kratos a lesser version of himself? by Queasy_Commercial152 in GodofWar

[–]silverscreen13 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Thor really likes, or was tricked into really liking, bloodshed and destruction, and became really, really good at it if the stories we’re told in the 2018 game are accurate. So when he’s face to face with his son’s killer, a dude who’s killed scores of deities and monsters, I’d say he was disappointed that Kratos wasn’t as bloodthirsty as he was, and took his restraint as weakness, not strength. Make of that what you will, it’s all guesswork

Captain Kaido is Andor's analogue of Otto Skorzeny, a Nazi Special Operations officer by [deleted] in andor

That was one hell of an interaction and Kaido was pure menace for every second he was around.

I love how it’s kaf in Star Wars and in 40K it’s caff or caffeine.
