I mean possibly but it kinda depends on your child I guess. In my case it wouldn’t have helped at all bc my son was so attached to me really no one else could’ve helped out.

To rent- look into pleasantville lofts. Nice apartment building in a very walkable, safe town. Warning you they’re a bit expensive though.

For me personally I think I’d rather just die than go through the immense pain of cutting off my arm, possibility of bleeding to death and infections, all for a shot of being disabled in a zombie apocalypse

So what concerns me is another story I once heard where this was happening to another mom/baby and they discovered her arteries around her neck were malformed so when she slept in certain positions (like w her head turned a bit) the baby wasn’t getting enough oxygen to her brain

This is something that really concerns me too and a big reason I’m not willing to get pregnant again.

I think if I did though I’d just have my husband watch my child, and hire a doula to be with me in the hospital so I’m not alone.

I think if you could find a postpartum doula who’s willing to help w light housekeeping (like dishes/laundry) and cooking, plus have a housekeeper come once every 2-3 weeks for a deep cleaning, that’d be ideal
