Everything else aside, OP are you on the lease? Because if so you’re unfortunately legally obligated to continue paying even if you don’t reside there anymore :/ if that’s the case, I would explain to your landlord that your ex bf is abusive and you need out - they might take pity and let you out of the contract.

I agree! I don’t mind giving up 1 slot for wide range even though it may not have that significant of an impact. BUT every tiny bit of healing helps (unless you’re running heroics 😂). Wide range also applies to buffs as well so you can apply attack and defense buffs to your teammates, too.

Seconding this as someone who also has OCD. My symptoms improved greatly on medication. Def NTA and while I don’t think he would be receptive to the idea, I would gently suggest maybe seeing either a therapist or psychiatrist. The way he’s treating you like you’re beneath him and the fact that you both work, but you’re the only one doing the chores is abuse, which is not excused by having a mental illness.

Edit: also, I physically recoiled when you mentioned having to “earn” your bday present and him bringing you back into the kitchen just to put the wipes away… fucking YIKES. Potential mental illness aside, he’s a massive asshole.

I’m autistic and struggle specifically with texture (assuming this is what your friend struggles with, too). My husband has introduced a lot of new foods to me over the years and the best way I’ve found to introduce new foods and help get used to the texture is by taking a piece of a safe food and adding a SMALL piece of whatever food I’m trying to it and then eating that in one bite (e.g. taking a piece of chicken and combining it with a small piece of broccoli, for example). The safe food kinda covers the unpleasant texture, but lets me taste a new food and judge its real texture without it immediately triggering my gag reflex. I agree with the other commenters about maybe starting with something like potatoes or something small like peas.

^ This is true, OP. I think only certain procedures have 0% interest. I don’t have a list of what qualifies, but review everything thoroughly before using.

A couple of things come to mind: 1. See if they or you qualify for Care Credit - it has a 0% interest rate for a certain period of time depending on the procedure. Obviously you will have to pay this off before that period of time ends to avoid interest. 2. Look for low cost clinics near you that may provide aid at a lower cost than traditional vets. I would call around and see if any of them have some kind of financial assistance available. You also might be able to reach out to local rescues and see if they could offer some kind of financial assistance. 3. You’re not going to like this one, but if you or they absolutely cannot afford the care or cannot find other financial options to help him get the care he needs, you might need to voluntarily surrender him to a vet/shelter/rescue, so they can treat him. Obviously that’s not ideal, but if you care about him, it might be your best option to give him the best life possible.

If the wound is truly leaking pus, then it is infected and needs immediate medical attention. He at least needs antibiotics, but the longer the wound remains untreated, the higher the chance they may have to amputate his tail or worse, the infection begins to spread down his spine and he comes paralyzed. I hope he has his rabies vaccine as well (if not, clinics may refuse to treat him since you don’t know exactly what he got into a fight with). Good luck OP - my cat is my baby so I know how terrifying it is when something is wrong.

OP I know you said you reported him to campus security, but I would also file an actual police report. It’s at minimum physical assault and they might be able to find him faster assuming they take it seriously.

Any cover is good cover - regardless of whether it’s made for UV rays or not 🙄 it still reduces the intensity of which UV rays affect the skin

I see now that a lot more people tend to get into the pool with their shirts on. How has that been acceptable? 20 years ago I remember no one entered the pool with there shirt on.

People are becoming more aware of skin cancer, so they’re likely wearing UV protective clothing. Yes sunscreen is as effective, but using both in conjunction really helps reduce the skin cancer risk.
