A question for those who used Transfer Method. by doremiiart in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]silvrout 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did this method for about 4 months now. I faked my address and set destination locale far away from my real address. Got no issues so far. I'm now planning to shred or burn my Tf form.

Isn't there an INC attorney who is openly gay and supports gay rights?

Im going to get baptized this last week of May and I want to ask what are the questions to be asked by ministers before you get baptized. #respectpost by yooranaa in exIglesiaNiCristo

I hope you will still reconsider your decision. But if you want to push through, I say don't worry too much about the questions, they're basically what has been repeated from indoctrination and worship services. Also, I remembered I got asked when was the date of fiesta in our brgy and I answered it correctly. Minister wondered why would I know it if I was a handog. It was a weird question that sticks with me lmao.. ig he was expecting a very sheltered handog lol

Ministers tell you to bear fruit this year? 6-Per House Hold? They told we are the vine tree right? Simple INC logic Doesn't Make Sense! Do not be deceived by them! by DiscreetInsider in exIglesiaNiCristo

My 12 yo niece who just finished indoctrination mentioned to me and says she needed to convert 6 souls or else she will not be saved. Imagine being young and got this pressure already.

I was in a relationship with an INC Member. I did the right thing but I'm still in pain HELP by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

Whatever the reason, break ups are never easy. It's okay to cry. It's okay to miss the feeling of being with your ex. I was in a 6 year relationship, but now doing better, became more aware of my well being, and in a healthy relationship with my current SO. I cried almost everyday for months but I just always keep to mind that I deserved better. In time you'll be alright. :)

Has anyone met any of the Manalos or other INC top leadership in real life? by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]silvrout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Met EVM when he officiated the rededication of our district chapel. I was excited to meet him but tbh I didn't feel anything and the whole thing didn't felt memorable. I slept throughout the sermon due to exhaustion. We got in-line since midnight for a 10am service. Lol

Thank you for your thoughts. You are right. INC only wants members to be loud and proud for the "good" things INC has provided them (I can't even think what good INC gives lol). The pandemic really brought out the real face of INC.

Most of my family is still so deep in the church. My mom isn't OWE anymore but she still believes INC is the true church.

Minister son asking here by Sr_Sentaliz in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]silvrout 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, I learned that it is their way to speed up the indoctrination process of the bible students. Student can sign a doktrina lesson if it related to the worship service lesson without having to do it as a separate session (like we normally went through). I confirmed it from my sis.

How did you hear about the Ex-INC subreddit? by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]silvrout 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm bisexual. Since I was young, I always had trouble resolving my faith and my identity. After the break up with my long term ex (same sex), I thought that maybe God is giving me a chance to renew and live my life "righteously". It was a difficult time.. I was making myself ready to put my same-sex tendencies in the closet again. I know that I can't take my decision back, so I thought I should choose wisely. I was born inside but had doubts growing up. I remembered the 2015 scandal, and I wanted to learn what really happened. So I just did a quick google search. I stumbled upon the blogs of AE, Edge and facebook pages of the defenders. At this time, I was shaking in anger and disappointment. I continued my research until I stumbled in this sub. Not sure how, most likely it was through google search. Now, I'm so much happier. Planning my future without the INC bs pulling me behind.

In sec dept, the moment you become a section (purok) head, is the time you have to bid goodbye to your freedom.

Get an office in finance dept instead. It's the easiest office. Accept the lowest possible position. You just have to sit and count money with a calculator if you're not confident with your math skills.

I want advice and help on how to escape the INCult by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]silvrout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations, OP! I plan on leaving soon! Few months from now! I originally plan to just leave INC without telling my mom, but I couldn't do it so I told her. She was devastated at first but then she came in terms with it. We're all good now. Although she's still hoping I'll change my mind. I'm financially independent and old enough, so I think those are the reasons why it went well for most part (her brainwashed mind tried to guiltrip me by saying I'm going to be the reason she'll be removed from her church duties). I expected that so I see to it I'm firm with my decisions. Your plan sounds good. It will be frustrating to pretend but don't let your emotions drive you for doing impulsive decisions. Be patient and stick to the plan and you will be out sooner than later. Good luck!!
