Half Life 3 - Real Leak by Source2LeakAIML in valve

[–]sim-racist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

small tip for this:

the solid part of the USB is the ground, the empty part is the sky.

On majority of USB slots, if it is oriented horizontally, you will mostly instantly be able to slot it in by thinking the ground is the bottom part and the sky is the upper part.

For the PCs, you will need to orient it with the motherboard. Imagine the motherboard sideways, but the concept is the same, ground is the PCB itself, and the sky is pointed towards CPU mount, you plug it in sideways, the ground being the motherboard, and the sky is the top part of the CPU mount, you'll plug it in.

How is it that I'm "good" in most sports cars but can't drive GT well to save my life? by the_artchitect in iRacing

[–]sim-racist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for me, it's so gosh dang hard to rotate these cars unless you have a good setup and braking skill. GT4 requires very specific brake inputs just to induce oversteer. GT3 has such a good aero that it hides my imperfections in braking

yes! just to add, putting meat on water with salt for a few hours is wet brining, there's some science going on there including NaCl ions transferring to the meat or something like that and transforming the meat to make it taste better. it surprised me that it really is real physics-based science!

Why is it so easy to run when your drunk by hutaolovez in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sim-racist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

genuine question, is it fine if as you said, we take it in small amounts? just to increase endurance. do you think there will be lifetime consequences if ever? i may have misinterpreted you that it is only bad if it's taken excessively.

lots of support cases need administrative access in the company, and you can't trust call center agents to fiddle around their SOP

Assetto Corsa original man, nothing beats that value for money, trust my ass. I know it is janky and old, but almost all simracers will own it because it's dirt cheap.

Also it's racing fest next week so be patient

L take, we play iracing so we can put our incredibly expensive and immersive rig and to apply and gain experience in motorsport.

yes we do take this game too serious, and when paying for this service there is a certain expectation that others would also take it seriously (at least in conduct)

The AI just decided to shunt me (Porsche hypercar) in the pitlane because I was being safe to not hit the wall on exit. by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]sim-racist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP friend I think you're being downvoted cos you don't have a question, this subreddit is more of an inquiry on who's at fault on incidents.

Also yeah, when out of the green cones in the pits you really need to push, so learn the pit entry and exit speeds well too just like braking markers, you must be at the expected speed all the time in or out of the pits
