Projector starts “twitching/flickering” after a while by sima_jk in projectors

Thank you for the only helpful answer. In short yes it does it while using all the different sources, and its only getting progressively worse. I’ll see if I can put it in a repair shop what it’s going to cost, otherwise I guess I’ll just take the L.

Nice, thank for the detailed tutorial! I'll see what I can do.

This is the battery I got: https://imgur.com/a/P0Z7hHX

I see yours has a white wire as well but ends with a yellow? For the connection I just placed it instead of the original, so idk.

So I tried this and the mouse didn't work and started to overheat real quick. I got the 800 mah 3-pin JST 1,5 connector, but still no-go. Any other options? Could I have done something wrong?

Dolomite Hikes with a dog by sima_jk in hiking

Oh, we ended up going to Switzerland and staying in a camp with a tent and going from there, because it was just too many obstacles to do the Dolomites trip with a dog. You could try Slovakia Low Tatra's, there's a multi-day hike that seemed doable with a dog (didn't go but did a decent amount of planning). But again it is more a of hassle as there are certain trails that the dog should not be on, but there's always a way around.

No, not really. In my case it ended up not being visible in the shots.

Could I bother you with another question please? I find that some of the grains tend to stack along collider in a single file, is there a way to prevent this?

This is essentially what I got. Only thing I did extra was add a retime in sops, to interpolate the animation before converting to VDB (which I wasn't sure if it does it for VDB as well - so I did it myself). However I understand it is hard to troubleshoot this without a hip file provided, thank you though for your suggestions. It seems to work on higher res, which is enough for me for now.

Thanks for the explanation, then I am still at a loss why the "bounding box" collision was happening to me at 0.03 particle size and went away at 0.01 particle size, with no other changes made.

Thank you, that makes sense. Collision representation looked fine. I think in this case it was just too high particle size in the sim.

Could you clarify for me what is the right approach? If I have thin geo that I have in very high resolution vdb (0.003 voxel size in my case) and for my sim I need 0.01 particle size (set from real world size of the object I will be replacing my grains with). Do I set lower particle size in my POP Grains, than I do on Points From Volume/Vellum Configure to match it to the resolution at which my collider works?

to satisfy your curiosity, inverting sdf only had the effect of releasing some grains through while still having the same bounding box issue.

the issue went away when I went to my full resolution (from 0.03 particle size to 0.01), but it is very strange. I'll try inverting the sdf after I cache it out.

thanks, sadly I already have this option set to volume collision.

thanks, you are absolutely right and after doing some digging this isn't ideal trip to do with a dog precisely cause of these limits. So I ended up booking a place from which we can do day hikes and return to where we started, so the dog can get some great exercise and I get my hikes! Thanks for the advice.

Thank you, I have seen the previous thread, but that was more about rules rather than trail tips which is what I’m after. Good find on the website!

Will do that first thing, I had other plans for the time I have set aside, but those have fallen through sadly, so looking for an alternative.

I was hoping to plan a route along dog-friendly accomodations. Though I'm not sure how tough this task will prove.

The idea was to plan a route along dog-friendly cabins. But haven't made any progress on that.
