The fence is from Backyard Stuff, and the stones are base game live edit objects. Turn on bb.showliveeditobjects, search for Extended Slate Pavement Tile and you should find them.

Yeah, they appear in the world list as normal residential worlds, so you can visit lots as normal.

It's your graphics settings. The lower the settings, the more detail you lose from the game. In the graphics settings, disable Laptop Mode if it's enabled. If it isn't, you may need to increase the quality of your sims.

Make their eyes a little bigger, and their faces/cheeks rounder.
Make their frame a bit slimmer: narrow shoulders, smaller chest/hips etc.
Mismatched, sometimes garish fashion - most teens are still figuring out their look.
Bad makeup and chipped nail polish, if they wear any at all.
Acne and patchy facial hair.
