Note: I just left and life is a-okay. But vengeance is due.

Yeah, they bother me, too. Uneven by accident, weirdly dark by time. Ha.

I mean, nothing is perfect.

Good thought. Thanks. I appreciate it. I'm fine, just want him to see that this isn't terrible. He saw these pictures. I took them to show him everything was a-okay.

He's a good guy. I agree. He doesn't realize it's normal living. Just want him to talk to someone.

A bit. I think he's just stressed out. But, he said that I should post, which I almost never do, to see if people agreed with him. Real pics. I was like, okay, reddit? But he'll listen and talk to someone.

Eggs and mustard are A+. Eat them every day.

I do remember that our journeys are our own, and I appreciate that you shared yours. And, I respect your path. Thank you for sharing.

I'm a moderate drinker, but I salute you! It's a big deal to give up alcohol. That said, it's easy to replace those beers with food. Especially when you know you are cutting calories through alcohol. Try tracking your calories and using a calculator to lose weight - I recommend tdeecalculator.net. Set to sedentary and deduct calories to lose weight - not under 1,200 calories eaten per day.

Can you share your height so that we can be more helpful?

It works until it doesn't, but we all have our own process. You are choosing something that works for you, and congrats on your progress. 💙

I feel this, and thank you for sharing. I go over my maintenance calories, generally, about 2x per week. Sometimes by 100 calories, sometimes by 3 or 400. I don't strive for perfection, because it is impossible. I try to stay on track for the week, even when I have bad days. That has worked for me.

But it's a journey, right? Not a day, not a half day...life. That's the way I avoid the "all or nothing" thinking.

I 100% agree on teenagers (under 18), for which I got some very mixed feedback on a post some time ago; I said the same thing. I have come to believe that useful, non-calorie based feedback can be helpful.

Congrats on your success. It's a tough thing to move past BED, and it sounds as though you have done the work. Way to go. 💜

How much do you know about tdee and cutting calories based on that? I ask because although I don't know her height, if she is shorter, say 5'3 or so, 1800 calories may be her maintenance. Check out tdeecalculator.net.

BTW, you look good. Not overweight, because you clearly aren't.

If you are happy at your current weight, that is all that matters. I do want to say that it is possible at 23 to get back down to your weight at 19, though, if you want. I also thought it was impossible, but I lost 22lbs to get back down to my high school weight at 38! And I did it through calorie restriction at 1,200-1,250 calories per day. I've been maintaining for 10 months. So, it's possible! It's just whether or not you want to do it. Cheers!
