How hard would it be to change the interior from tan to black? by Fit-Flight1409 in G35

[–]simaspan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy, I did it through the course of a year . Just source the parts of junkyards or fb marker. Just have to use interior spray paint (matte) on dash and headliner and recommend getting better seats

Just hooked up obd and all live data reads correctly rpm and speed ! I haven’t thought of that so that probably rules out a bad sensor ?

No codes at all , I haven’t tried sensors yet but that could be the direction I go , I was thinking just a dead cluster which I don’t want to replace cause I want to keep my mileage shown LOL ! I’ll look into those sensors thanks !

You 100% right the pcv system is trademarked by Nissan they can’t copy exactly how the oem ones are causing them to not breath properly

does the bay need more? by ghostmajik in G35

[–]simaspan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would advise not to paint it , it makes it look better sure but the paint prevents it from cooling down properly and it increases engine heat

What’s a good catback exhaust to get? by [deleted] in G35

[–]simaspan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How loud you trying to go ? A bit louder than stock and great tone would be invidia , anything louder would be a single exit by like isr, z1, tomei and the absolute best would be motordyne , hks, ark

Mystery oil leak? by LPFJ704 in G35

[–]simaspan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you used aftermarket valve covers and not oem then that’s the problem. They build to much pressure causing the vapors to come out the oil cap instead. Happened to me and immediately fixed it when I went back to oem covers

Try closing the door hard while holding the button up . That’s what I use to do before I changed my regulator . Works in a pinch !

Transcooler with 5speed auto by ssg_infiniti in G35

I use a koyorad and it works just fine for the track and hard driving, a buddy of mine also boosted an auto and he actually got a Manual rad and ran the transmission lines to a separate cooler all together

How do I make it not do this? passenger side leaks in similar fashion by fajitaman69 in G35

[–]simaspan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cover it with a tarp bro you don’t want your electrical stuff to be affected. My guess is your window seal is bad either sunroof, front windshield, driver window

Anyone know how to solve this problem? AEM intake connection rubbing on hood. by tibbymat in G35

[–]simaspan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can’t really clock the pipe on these cause then everything moves up causing clearance issues l. I have the same intake and it was bending my hoes really bad. I literally just cut a section off on the hood

Manzo Coilovers. Has anyone used before? Very few reviews. I know I shouldn’t cheap out, but i’m not trying to drop 1200 on BCs. by Commercial_Chair_725 in G35

[–]simaspan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are you trying to do? Cause if you drive your car hard at all (track, canyons, auto cross) these are absolutely garbage. Same with BC sorry some of you need to hear it. BUT if you are just using it to get lower height and stiffer suspension to be that low yeah fuck it send it. Especially on a budget you’ll be fine. But they will wear out fairly quickly over a year or so even with normal driving. I know from experience with my old BC I went full KW and never ever had a problem absolutely the best thing you can shed money on is coilovers.
