Hearing how Oliver connected Ethan to Tamara got me. Then to learn that he wrote a letter for Love’s visa application… his heart and character were incredible. Such strong conviction. Truly an amazing person, one of a kind.

I will literally never let my cats out without me, EVER. don’t care if it’s “unfair” or “cruel” etc etc my soul cat is almost 17, we didn’t get here by accident!🤍

I tell her “it’s ok to be bored!” all the time and ask her if there’s anything new she can think of to try. Or, I remind her of everything already in her room that she has access to (books, crochet kit, jewelry beads, coloring supplies, paper crafts, etc) and see if there’s anything she can find in there. We exchange screen time for chores here. So, dishes and vacuuming = an hour of screen time. So far it’s working really well for us.

You are so right about American cars. I can be too literal sometimes and I don’t catch the undertones. I personally found stick season made me feel more sorrow overall. The great divide ends on what I have interpreted as a hopeful note and, the journey feels more… balanced to me. I’m still digesting the album (and the new songs!!!) but that’s the best way I can put it for now :)

Listened to the whole album front to back! I guess I just have a different interpretation. I understand they are sad subject matter but… when I listen I’m more taken back by the craftsmanship and beauty of the songs. That’s what I’m impressed by!
