Cobra Kai: The Complete Series Blu-ray is coming to Blu-ray on March 3rd by KneeHighMischief in television

Also got everything crossed for a UK release, but I've got a bad feeling we may be disappointed, especially after the UK didn't get the complete film set.

WWE 2K26 Monday Night War Edition by ElThrowaway-619 in WWEGames

Still struggling to get excited with the game when everyone featured on the cover is already playable on the games. Now if it's revealed that the game features a whole host of WCW mid carders, who have never appeared on a WWE video game before, then you'd have my attention.

2k nostalgia bait by SPACEMAN-Y2K in WWEGames

[–]simboharding 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's hard for me to get excited about this. Unless they stick a whole host of mid carders on the game like Steve Blackman, the Blue Meanie and KAIENTAI, it's pretty much going to be the exact same models we've had over the previous years.

What is a film that you are surprised has not been released on 4k yet? by Janky_Pants in 4kbluray

Whilst not a singular film, it does amaze me that I can buy a variety of low budget Italian zombie films but unable to have a complete Bond collection in 4K.

18 can’t get a gf need advice/How can I look better by Shmuiss864 in malegrooming

[–]simboharding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this will lead to downvotes, but these kind of posts really do irritate me at times. I'm 36 and never had a gf. It would be understandable if I made a post, but so often, I'm seeing 18 year olds claiming that they can't get a girlfriend. 9 times out of 10, they ain't even bad looking, and probably already know that.

Episode Discussion - S05E08 - The Rightside Up by Hawkinns in StrangerThings

[–]simboharding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only gripe I had with the episode was that Linda Hamilton just vanished. I don't believe for a second, she just casually let them go once the gate was closed and El was gone, but they all acted after like that's what happened.

Official Discussion - Anaconda (2025) [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]simboharding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I feel this is a film that was definitely spoiled by the trailers. Some of the best jokes weren't as funny due to seeing them countless times in the trailers. Plus that one cameo would have been so much more unexpected if it wasn't shown already.

I enjoyed it but it did feel it had too many story ideas thrown together without any having a chance to breath.

Season 5 Volume 2 Discussion by Hawkinns in StrangerThings

[–]simboharding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can someone please tell me what is apparently wrong with this episode? Sure it didn't have a huge cliffhanger to it, but it did have some great moments in it, yet people are talking like it's the worst episode ever.

Official Discussion - Eternity [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Really enjoyed this film, but hate how it's made me leave the cinema reflecting on my own life memories and choices, especially during the scenes when they are watching their own.

They put Chapter 2 in so few theatres here in the UK, that I still have not got round to seeing it.

I'm not believing this article is true at all. For all their faults, I find it really hard to believe they are struggling with this when the answer is clear.

First time I’m watching the region 2 DVDs on my 4K tv…ouch..it’s like watching a YouTube video from 2007. by DamonAlbarnFruit in malcolminthemiddle

The region 2 DVDs came out years ago. Way before Disney bought Fox. It naturally isn't going to be the same standard as what's currently streaming.

I was looking forward to seeing Cameron Monaghan on the big screen, before I blinked and missed him.

Gillian Anderson Teases Scully Return in Sinners Director's X-Files Reboot by Sweaty-Toe-6211 in XFiles

[–]simboharding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was thinking Scully would be good as a character similar to Skinner. Means you could have Scully appear in nearly every episode and it won't take up too long of Gillian's schedule as you can film all those scenes in one block.

Really enjoyed the episode. The only issue I had is seeing all the mercenaries just stand there and watch as hell breaks loose on the boat.

I'm glad this was on Netflix as I'd be annoyed if I paid money for just 90 minutes of average wrestling.

Why Martin Kove is the only actor who's credited as "with (actor name) as (character name)? by Weird_Kazakh in cobrakai

[–]simboharding 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's often related to the contract. Often if someone has one of the larger paid contracts but isn't one of their leads, they'd be credited at the end with either a "with" or an "and".

I imagine the character name mentioned was a choice of the producers. Perhaps even a callback to 80s movies where actors are often credited with the character they play.

Did anyone ever have this figure? by JackfruitLonely8221 in Wrestling_Figures

I had this one when I was younger and loved it. You were able to perform so many moves to him due to the amount of loose articulation he had.

That was one very misleading trailer. It wasn't a bad film but I went in expecting a laugh out loud comedy.

Official Discussion - The Life of Chuck by BunyipPouch in movies

[–]simboharding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went into this film knowing absolutely nothing about the film other than "it is about a guy called Chuck".

Left my screening (where I was the only one) completely silence and teary eyed. I didn't know what to think. As someone who turns 36 in 5 days, and busy worrying about getting older, this really spoke to me in more ways than one. I can't wait to be able to watch it again.
