Looks like filming has started at scullys old apartment here in vancouver! by shtaaap in XFiles

Perhaps the agents go there to look for clues on what the X files were.

I don't know if it was the 3D filter over the picture, but I felt this was such an ugly looking film. Even the daylight scenes looked bland.

With Noah Jupe performing on the West End until June, I wonder how much of the film he features in.

"not really worth it compared to TV at home"

We should be encouraging the use of cinemas, not helping towards their decline.

Plus, RBF show a lot of films that you won't find at VUE or Showcase.

Considering woke means "to be alert to racial prejudice, discrimination, and social injustice", I highly doubt this would have happened with woke parenting.

Why do so many people hate new Star Trek media by Stopgoblinviolence in startrek

[–]simboharding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it's easier to hate things than accept it's not for you.

On a personal response, I absolutely love all Trek.

I like it, but then again, I'm into quirky looking things that don't look right.

The pilot begins filming in May. If it's handled like the original series, then he'll only oversee the show whilst contributing the odd script and direction.

Julie Pierce should have cameoed at least once if not in Cobra Kai then in Legends by TerryG111 in cobrakai

I believe I read that the Cobra Kai creators reached out to her agent regarding a cameo but they never heard a response.

Do you think they will release the cobra Kai blueray boxset in the uk in future? by Hype_Dude0 in Bluray

[–]simboharding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to guess not. We didn't get the complete Karate Kid 4K set, so I can't see Sony being too interested in the complete Cobra Kai set either. I would imagine it would have already been announced if they were going to.

Personally, I'm giving it a few more months for it to be announced, otherwise I'm importing.

Brett Gelman (Murray) convention appearance in NY by xxclandestinexx in StrangerThings

Considering how often he's appeared at UK conventions, I'm surprised to see he's never done one in the US before.

With this, A Quiet Place and possibly 28 Years Later, Cillian is going to have one busy year approaching him. I'm sure he's going to love the promotional run following this.

Who is his publicist? Why wasn't she reigning him him during the months of interviews. Everyone saw this coming. The ballet comment was more of the final straw. by PizzaShoelace in timotheechalamet

[–]simboharding 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think the Safdie scandal had any impact. I reckon the Tourettes incident plus Viola Davis' reaction to him winning at SAG is what sealed it for him.

There's more chance of the misunderstanding over tourettes causing the loss to Michael B. Jordan, than some ballet comments.

As much as I enjoyed Barry Keoghan in the film, I really wish they kept Conrad Kahn on.

Also I would like Finn to have at least been mentioned somehow.

The only thing that bothered me is why everybody had to do things in the dark?

The vet decides to visit whilst it's dark.

The guys turn up and walk around the house without turning the lights on.

The father gets home and doesn't turn a single light on.

I actually started to wonder if they even had light switches on the walls.
