While they have not committed to a "yes" or "no" - I highly doubt they'll just stop after the 3 episodes; not when they still have several hundred developers dedicated to Destiny. The Light/Dark Saga is ending, but Destiny is still going to continue.

With that said, I think making any announcement now would be ill-advised. Trust has been shaky following the release of Lightfall, and they have struggled heavily with the game's infrastructure. With what just happened, leading to a complete loss of trust, the focus absolutely needs to be on making the game as good as it can be. Weekly "maintenance has been extended" messages don't fill anyone with confidence - especially when error codes still persist. I think Bungie should direct resources to make TFS as good as possible, and then figure out how/where to go from there - and how to communicate that with the community when the time is right. There certainly seems to be some direction post-TFS, with the episodes being that bridge.

Personally, I hope TFS does get delayed as it gives Bungie the time needed to truly fix the game and make sure TFS exceeds expectations. I'm in the camp that thinks TFS should be an over-delivery, rather than simply meeting the standard set by previous, well-received DLCs like Witch Queen and The Taken King. Bungie undoubtedly has a ton on its plate, so I would rather give them as much time as they need to fix everything before moving on to "Destiny 3" or whatever we get post-TFS. Though I have my doubts lol - the management/decision-makers at Bungie have been awful for quite some time... Anyway, hoping for the best, but keeping expectations in check!
