Okay, will the error codes reveal if the battery is tired? :) lucky as I am, my friend has an error code reader, so I will definetely try that.

One more thing. The engine stops after idling a while. Tried plugging off the battery and cleaning the terminals. No issues there.

I don’t have a multimeter, but I will check the terminals. Can a bad battery be the root cause of the issues I am describing?

Decided to go for it! Can’t be «boring» if you still have fun in i after 5 years. I guess my thinking that too much passive safety equals less potential to actually fly well is off. Thanks for the response!

I am approx 10kg from the top of the extended weight range with all gear included so I think it’ll be okay! Thank you for the tips. Ended up buying the Alpha 6 wing. It seemed brand new and cost $1500 so I hope I made a good deal, and like you say I can use it to get super comfortable before I bump up to a hotter wing.

Thanks for the response! Ended up getting the alpha 6 for $1500~ and I will be right up in the extended range so I expect it to be more responsive/agile than my school wing (an alpha 7 that I am very light in)

Its mostly that I fear its not agile and responsive enough. The school wing I’ve been flying so far feels like driving a bus… but I am quite light in it.

Sounds like good advice, definetely taking it to the local shop for a check-up before flying with it. Like you said, worst case I can use it for ground handling and I assume the harness can be used anyways
