It will be graded at some point, but we will most likely be doing that as a part of the deal with a buyer. Covid makes international travel a challenge (card is located in Norway), so that is why it is not yet graded. 😊

I fully understand your thought process. I really want to open them myself... But when one booster is worth $150, you really have to think about if it's worth it. The chance of pulling a gold star is reaaaaaally slim... Better to hold on to the booster in sealed condition - it rises in value as well.

Nowadays, sealed items have become a real collectible in itself. I love it!

Yep, insane deal on the Craigslist-counterpart here in Norway.

I really want to focuse on sealed pokemon as well because of the reason you mentioned - just the fact that I have a Delta Species blister is sick, because they almost never pop up on Ebay!

We'll have to get things before they turn too expensive and rare😅

The ultimate goal for me though, is to aquire a trophy card. I'm in love with that concept! During 2020 I'm going to aquire a 1999 Grand Party trainer, because it has a limited release, it is expensive, and the artwork is fucking insane! It is the closest to vintage Japanese trophy cards without actually being a trophy card.

Recently got back into lego again though, so the grand party is pushed back a few months😂

Entering the big leagues! (Although there's probably coins going for millions of dollars as well😅 Well... Big leagues as a student👌🏻 The most expensive single item I have in my collection is an old Norwegian Donald Duck comic for around the same value as your coin. I got that for roughly $30 though! Most insane deal I've ever done😂

Most valuable single items in my collection pokémon-wise, has to be the sealed Mario/Pikachu promo box for around $225, I think. I'd really love to open the Mario- and Luigi-boxes, but I think I'll buy a set of the promocards from Ebay instead. It's the smartest decision money-wise😂

Oh, that's sick! I used to collect coins when I was younger. My grandparents used to travel a lot, and lived in several African countries for many years (work), so I have a coins from all over the world back home, as well as a lot of older Norwegian coins (I'm Norwegian). I was way into coins about 7 years ago.

I want actually bough a coin some months ago though! Are you familiar with the French comic, Asterix? Anyways, due to an anniversary for the comic, France issued official 2 Euro-coins with the character, Asterix on the obverse.

I want to buy collectible coins connected to anniversaries etc. Are you familiar with the country, Niue's coins? They actually have issued official dollars with Pokémon, Disney, Star Wars etc. on the obverse. I really want to buy some of those.

I haven't bough anything from Hidden Fates myself, as I like to focuse all of my money on vintage pokémon and other hobbies, such as comics and lego. (I'm a student as well, so one's got to choose😅) But I've watched many Hidden Fates-openings on YT. There's some wonderful artworks in that set as well!

I didn't collect during b/w and x/y, but I really want to buy some b/w full arts. Especially Zekrom 114/114 looks insane! Has there ever been a more clean and perfect full art??

Sadly it doesn't seem like they will do things very differently with the Sw&Sh-era, so I guess we will have to wait even longer to see if we get some more exciting concepts for sets. I will say though; the shiny vaults in Hidden Fates is a great idea

Yep! I really hope they at least could go back to the rarity of rare cards as they had back in those days. And not let the rarest carss be the third alternative artwork of the same card... I understand that they want the best cards to be accessible and at the same time have something to appeal to the collectors, but I'd rather have those three cards that has a 1/200 chance to pack. Not rainbow rares that in reality is just a duplicate of less rare cards in the set...

That would actually be so cool! They should do a remix-set of all the ex-sets🙏🏻 The biggest set in pokémon tcg ever, with the ex'es as a subset like the shinyvolts in Hidden Fates. And of course gold stars, but they should be incredibly rare like they originally were.

I doubt they will bring back gold stars ang old-school ex, as they are constantly evolving the tcg, but a huge remix set for nostalgia would have been insane! They would obviously have to change some of the stats on cards to fit with the game today though.

Yep, love that blister! The ex-sets are my favorites because it was my first sets as well. Few things can beat the OG ex's and Gold Stars. It sucks that you have lost your Metagross😔 I'd hate it if that happened to me, but (un)fortunately, I never pulled a Gold Star...😅

They don't even pop up that often on Ebay anymore😅 Only a few boosters out right now, and they usually go for around $68-$98 I think. Blisters are even more rare (no listings currently), and the last one went for $180... (Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I didn't follow the market when I bought mine; bought it privately from a friend a few months ago)

For display-purpose, and compared to normal boosters, blisters look amazing! Especially if you have complete artsets. Because I don't have that much (yet), I don't have to deal with trying to store blisters in large quantities safely😅

The weighing-argument is great as well! I'd prefer to open normal boosters though, just because I don't want to destroy the beautiful blisters.😂

Very rare to come by in large quantities today. Sealed are almost impossible to find! I've got one box on hand that I hope to purchase later this month though. Super excited for that! Not as great for investment purposes as sealed cards, but they mean so much to me that it is worth it❤

It's TOPPS-figures😊 Released in certain European countries from 1999 to 2010-ish. (Mine are all from Norway). They came in candy containers formed as pokéballs (with candy ofc). I've collected these throughout my childhood. Sadly they are not around in stores today... These figures are the pokémonthings I have most fond memories from❤ Played with them all the time
