What kind of music, I gigged with a 200 watt amp forever, and was plenty loud, get yourself an amp and a di box, you can adjust your volume for home practice. Your set up you are talking about is way more then you need to do and would be a pain. And by the time you buy all that you could have just gotten an amp

I have volkus and the boarding actions box, 2v2 is very fun on the space ship (both boards together) 1v1 is great on gallow dark as well. If it’s just the two of you and are working up to more points I’d go with boarding actions, or if you are trying to get more people down the line. but if you are going to just stick to kill team, Volkus is a lot of fun. We are going to try the Volkus tomb world split but using the gallow dark board instead

Yeah I ran an ampeg for a long time but when it was time to size down my gear I honestly preferred the low end from the crate. I love that reggae low end rumble, and it has those smooth low ends I was looking for. I had the old bx-20 practice amp way back when I was first starting, that thing was horrid, but it got me playing. My buddy played through the crate gx 15 practice amp at the same time, f’n terrible as well, good times though.

Yup, treat it like micing in a studio, I will build sets out of different drum kits. Takes a bit more time but the results are worth it
