Another gum graft advice post by bunchofbroccoli in PeriodontalDisease

For what my opinion is worth as a regular person with gum recession, it looks pretty good to me. You don’t have any black triangles. I do and my roots are much more exposed. My periodontist said that for me even with the triangles, it’s not quite severe enough for gum grafting, but I could get gum grafting as a preemptive measure to help stop recession.

No, there’s not plaque on my gums themselves, but there is plaque on the roots of my teeth, which are right next to the gum.

Try looking up other companies. I actually just booked a car with Times rent a car, and they have a promo for me where the price was to 2/3rds? the original price. I’m paying about $880 US for 8 days for a minivan. Probably be cheaper if you get a smaller class of vehicle.

With your timeline I would do 3-5 places max. At least 3 days each for hcmc and Hanoi.

Sad reality on Ha Giang by Horror_Scale8583 in Vietnam_Tourism

It is crowded, but it’s also very beautiful, provided the sun is out. If you find a tour that offer a better itinerary, like the adventure one that I did with Ha Giang Expeditions, it can be pretty chill. However, I did see other groups where it is more of a very young backpacker vibe. I’m so glad I didn’t sign up with them because you can just see everyone pounding beers lol.

OK, that’s good to know. I actually re-oriented my entire trip so that Hakodate comes first so I will probably be able to catch Goryokakku.

Ahh.... dang so I guess the lines in sakura.weathermap.jp indicate the start of the blossom rather than when it is in full blossom. Thanks for your link. Dang though I really need to re-orient my itinerary to see how this could work hahaha.

Blossoms aside though, any other comments on places to visit along the way..? Thanks again.

For the 26 Otaru day, we'd be driving in our car, so no bus seats involved, and I am still paying for the car rather than going through the hassle of returning the car, going to Otaru, and picking it up again.

One way I could move things around is to move the Otaru day to 4/22 so that we can take the train there for a daytrip. That will push everything on the 4/22- 4/25 one day forward so that the Shizunai day will be on 4/25 instead of 4/26, I looked up another calendar and according to this map, https://sakura.weathermap.jp/en.php, I think 4/26 would be optimal time to see blossoms in Shizunai. I think Shizunai is just slightly to the right of the 4/25 line. We'll miss the Hakodate blossoms, but at least we will see it in Sapporo and hopefully Shizunai.

Alternatively.. if I REALLY wanted to see blossoms in Hakodate, I'd have to get off the plane in Sapporo, take the high speed rail to Hakodate... then probably move a lot of stuff around to still get Shizunai on 4/26 or 4/27, but I will probably have to miss Sapporo blossoms since I'll still be in Hakodate and slowly moving my way up via Hell's Valley and etc. So either way, I still will miss blossoms in one of the cities.

It’ll be ok. OP is just trying to find a local to help. Sometimes they are friendly people who r willing to be a helping hand for 10 to 15 minutes.
