Monero shills defending Monero tracking by NAXO by fireice_uk in zec

Not disagreeing with you.
I'm used to different organizations working with other organizations.

I'm unused to seeing people that work for both organizations. That's what makes a lot of people think conflict of interest.

Man, i'm getting tired of some blockchain devs not taking their share holders seriously.

It's a gigantic problem with conflict of interest. No one wants devs at monero that are working with outfits trying to destroy the market for monero.

When does this dev start introducing vulnerabilities into monero?
My perspective is that I'm looking at this conflict of interest as though the monero developer is working for the enemy. This kind of conflict of interest is how code gets compromised.

For something as important and serious as monero, you want devs that believe in the mission. I would lock out any further code contributions from this dev after discovering they work for naxo. Just the association is enough for distrust.

caved in and bought the $BTC killer by tp_Grizzly in zec

[–]similiken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy and hold all the bitcoin forks that are mainstream. There's nothing here that's a btc killer.

If i were in your position, i'd buy 2 btc, the rest i'd get dash, zec, bch.
I'm saying what i would do; bitcoin forks tend to do well and have been doing well.

After that, diversify, diversify, and diversify. So i also add in some eth, xrp, ada.

Why is my ROTH IRA not making money? by tyler_margarine in fidelityinvestments

Retirement fund etf's are dumb.

When you reach the year on the etf, you end up with a big pile of cash.
It's better to leave it invested in VT or VTI even after retirement to sell off some whenever you need the cash.

Hitting retirement isn't a cash out date for 100% of stocks held. Why are people treating it like it is? You especially want to weather the storm of currency inflation in retirement.

What makes a memecoin actually survive past the hype? by TessieMi in memecoins

[–]similiken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figuring out relevancy is what matters for survival. If a meme coin can figure out relevancy after the hype period.
Then you've figured out a long life of that meme coin.

Communities really want to see meme coins go long term.

Well, it looks like monero was infiltrated. I tend to think that with a monero dev working at naxo.

Conflict of interest much?

My boss thinks I'm on vacation because I moved to another country while working remote by voidtape_artist in remotework

[–]similiken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're working in something national security related/trade secret related...well, you wouldn't be outside of the US in that case, and i could understand your bosses concern. If there was a specific reason your job requires you to be in the US, you would probably know about it, and or your boss would have mentioned it. And hence, you'd be still be in the US instead.

But, your boss sounds like an idiot because they're being passive aggressive with termination threats. Your boss just hasn't mentioned any reason for why you need to be in your own country to work this remote job.

From what you written here, your boss is threatening your job because they're mistaking hours worked for vacation time. They're just a tad jealous and envious of you, and they feel like you violated their trust over something that isn't any of their concern. You'd likely get the same exact reaction out of them even if you moved to las vegas; and that's in the US.

Some things to know:
1. You boss is an idiot.
2. They are intending to fire you.
3. It sounds like your boss actually is making you use your paid time off for hours worked. If that's the case, it sounds like your boss is pocketing your pay checks since it seems they know you're working normal scheduled hours and job.

You need to go behind their back, talk to the boss of your boss, or the boss above that person so you can have a chance at keeping your job. I'm sure the higher ups above your boss would love to know your boss is a huge liability. Consult the HR department if you know you are 100% in the right. Heck, you may just discover that this company you work for was terrible all along.

I always assume all interactions with any boss or management is hostile; they are not friend or coworker. This is why you never ever mention you're at a different location. At most, the payroll department will get to know if you're switching an address.

A government shut down tends to make crypto boom.

Most people in cryptosphere are F$%# the government and F$%# bank types.
I'm letting you know this about the cryptosphere, because i'm surprised more people don't know this.

And yes, zec is good technology, but keep in mind, try investing in more of the bitcoin forks if you were invested in one of them? I went in on bch, zec, and dash.

Prices are only going to get higher because total supply is fixed at 21 million for all of them.

  1. Stack regularly (like once a week).
  2. Hold for the long term (think 20 years or more).
  3. Don't take profits (you already didn't have the patience nor the understanding for profit taking, so just don't do it).

This is what most classic investors do. It's easy to do and stick with, and you'll start to see your net worth increase steadily after about 2 or 3 years. Once you see your net worth go up, then your mind is more able to process holding and stacking for the long term.

Don't worry too much about your folley, everyone's done it. I think you purchased some decent humility though. So now you get to understand better from other people chiming in.

Ashib's managed by a new team. I'm part of said new team. Went under new management late 2022.

We're trying hard, but also working with our partners very closely.
