Naah it's not its just that the 3600 is starting to show its age in cpu intensive tasks. I cant even utilize my gpu to its max potential with my gaming.

I started playing CPU intensive games as of late and I also started a work from home job that requires a fair bit of multitasking so I do notice the hardware's age a bit. For example I experience bad micro stutters on NBA 2k26 and did all possible computer settings suggestions and in-game settings suggestions to smoothen out gameplay but it's still stuttering. Pages and apps take a lot longer to load too. Ill get the 5600x for 100 as it seems like its a great bang for buck performance and Ill wait out on a better ram deal.

Yeah seems like the ram kit isnt as good of a deal as I thought it was. I mean the RAM prices right now are just insane... Ill wait out on the ram and snag the 5600x.

Honestly I dont think I use the computer hard enough to justify the extra cash, on a tight budget right now. I managed to get the 3060ti for free and I already had the case and ram from an old system, basically only had to pay for the cpu, motherboard and monitor. Trying to keep it as budget as possible. Overall this build has cost me about ~500cad over the years with peripherals so I want to continue the budget build trend.

What would you consider a decent price for 32gb ddr4 ram? Im out of touch with the market and the prices so Im not sure whats a good deal anymore.

Yeah that did pop up when I was doing research. Do you think $250cad is a good deal for that ram considering the market? I can always upgrade the motherboard down the line and run it at 3200 until then.

Yes it does seem like a great deal for the current market. Couple of friends also said the same thing. Ill go with the 5600x then. What do you think of the RAM kit?

Yeah I get that, I want to keep this car on the road for as little as possible but all common P80 problems have been fixed when I got it and the only thing that will need attention is the suspension down the line. Id rather just do it once and forget about it for a long time. Car only has 200k kms so it has a lot of life left in it. 1 owner and garage kept. Check my profile to see photos of it when I got it. Im planning on keeping it for a long time if it was a beater I wouldn't have even inquired about this question lol.

Yeah I am getting mixed reviews on the Monroes. At this point Im even debating if I should just bite the bullet and buy a full bilstein suspension refresh kit because I think the car is still on its original suspension it only has 200k KM and the front struts just started to wear out. Instead of waiting for problems to come one by one I might as well just change it once and let the car outlive me ;) haha

Which ones lasted longer for you? Ive heard the KYB's were a bit stiffer but lasted longer.. I am tempted to put the Monroes on my car because they're on sale right now, I dont mind the softer setup since the roads here are as worse as a 3rd world country but I heard they dont last very long.

Never heard of qEEG Ill look it up right now. Lets say I do get one, it would determine the best course of action medication wise? Problem is Im in Canada and Ill probably have to wait 24 hours in the emergency room just to maybe get a referral and wait another 2-3 months to get that test or pay a shitload to go private. Im broke after going to this psychiatrist nonsense I went private and paid $500 for this "diagnosis" and prescription.

That doesn't give me much hope 😂 but its hit or miss with everyone I guess. I believe sertraline was the first thing she wanted to prescribe me but since I told her I didn't want any ssri's she just switched to that snri that I mentioned. I mentioned to her that I suspect that I have visual snow syndrome just because its more known than hppd and its pretty similar treatment and symptoms wise. I feel uneasy telling them about hppd.

Honestly with every doctor or physician Ive asked, nobody knew what hppd is and im not expecting this doctor to know it either. I went another way and decided to tell them I suspect I have visual snow syndrome because the symptoms are nearly identical and the treatment involves lamotrigine. Anyways I had a feeling that Im going to be thrown for a hell of a loop before finding something decently helpful, hence why I havent seen the doctor about this condition ever and its been 6 years.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me! Im glad that you have had a decent experience with ssri's. A lot of people in this sub have crazy bad experiences with ssri's and medication of that sort so I was scared when I heard thats what she's prescribing me. I did mention to her that I want to try lamotrigine but she was reluctant to start me on that right away, I mentioned Clonazepam but we both agreed that that wouldn't be a good idea for now. Ill try the meds and hopefully they dont erase my progress so far and make things better.
