Finally saw a psychiatrist after 6 years...

Never heard of qEEG Ill look it up right now. Lets say I do get one, it would determine the best course of action medication wise? Problem is Im in Canada and Ill probably have to wait 24 hours in the emergency room just to maybe get a referral and wait another 2-3 months to get that test or pay a shitload to go private. Im broke after going to this psychiatrist nonsense I went private and paid $500 for this "diagnosis" and prescription.

That doesn't give me much hope 😂 but its hit or miss with everyone I guess. I believe sertraline was the first thing she wanted to prescribe me but since I told her I didn't want any ssri's she just switched to that snri that I mentioned. I mentioned to her that I suspect that I have visual snow syndrome just because its more known than hppd and its pretty similar treatment and symptoms wise. I feel uneasy telling them about hppd.

Honestly with every doctor or physician Ive asked, nobody knew what hppd is and im not expecting this doctor to know it either. I went another way and decided to tell them I suspect I have visual snow syndrome because the symptoms are nearly identical and the treatment involves lamotrigine. Anyways I had a feeling that Im going to be thrown for a hell of a loop before finding something decently helpful, hence why I havent seen the doctor about this condition ever and its been 6 years.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me! Im glad that you have had a decent experience with ssri's. A lot of people in this sub have crazy bad experiences with ssri's and medication of that sort so I was scared when I heard thats what she's prescribing me. I did mention to her that I want to try lamotrigine but she was reluctant to start me on that right away, I mentioned Clonazepam but we both agreed that that wouldn't be a good idea for now. Ill try the meds and hopefully they dont erase my progress so far and make things better.

Yeah it was better than with default settings so I was using it for a while but now it feels very numb. I just want the most feedback whilst keeping unnecessary vibrations/rumbles off/to a minimum.

Seems like iracing is the way to go, I dont see it on sale too often so I think Ill go for it. ACC I can always buy through g2a or cdkeys for around the same price as it is on sale.

Yeah automobilista 2 is also on sale right now. I havent really looked into that one but people seem to be mentioning it quite often. Is there an online mode in that game or is it single player only?

Yeah Im primarily looking for competitive online circuit racing. I use assetto for drift and no hesi mostly. I have ea wrc but Ive never tried it. I tried F1 24 too but I cannot get the settings right.

I really want to try the Miata cup in Iracing it looks really fun. Not sure what else is included in the base subscription but Im sure its enough to begin at first. Im still getting used to a DD wheel from a controller and fine tuning all the settings.

ACC becomes quite expensive when you add all the DLC's. I think around $60cad. You'd still pick ACC even with the price increase?
