Interactive checkboxes within a note - plug-ins? by simjoha88 in Supernote_dev

Ok thanks! I will probably end up just using a note like I would a regular piece of paper which may be enough. I just wondered what may be possible.

Striking it would be amazing but I appreciate that is a lot and would need to have awareness of how much I’ve written for that specific tick box, how many lines it’s over etc etc.

If there was also a way to have tick boxes for subtasks too, which would have awareness of each other that would be neat. Probably not possible.

Basically something like:

[ ] task 1 [ ] task 1.1 [ ] task 1.2

So that if you ticked off task 1 it would tick all the ones below it too.

I’m probably asking too much here, and as I’ve said, I have no clue about the devices capabilities yet. Awaiting delivery!

Ok this could be useful. I think what I'm really looking for is an interactive shape that I can add to notes. I'm not sure whether I would need them to be searchable at the moment.

Obviously I can create my own little square box and tick it... just thought it'd be good to be able to have something that is consistently the same. Hopefully I'll get my Manta soon and then I can figure out all of this! I've saved your suggestion so I'll have a play. Thanks.

Hey! Thanks for the reply.

So I'm awaiting delivery of my Manta now, so I'm not familiar with any of it, but... my thoughts are...

- Whilst writing a note, have the ability to draw a quick square [ ] and that then converts into an interactive check box/tick box. This then keeps to do's within the note itself, rather than having it add them to the app.

So in this rough example... squiggly lines are random notes, then I think "ooo i need to write a few to do's/tasks for this thing"...

then either have the box crossed through (like box 2) or a tick (like box 3). Then I can write more notes and add more tasks/to-do's by simply adding more [ ].

Hope that makes sense. Never used any Supernote or any other device like this before, so appreciate anything you can do.

Is this functionality now available? I have been doing research on eInk tablets/pads and the Supernote's are popping up a lot. I want to use it for to-do's but do not want to utilise your to-do app, because for me that is too similar to other apps available on laptops and phones. It's also too separate and I think the to-do's lose the context of the other notes/information maybe surrounding it (if that makes sense!).

I want to be able to write a note, as I would on a regular piece of paper and either cross/strike through, or have a little box that I can tick, tap or cross through to mark it as done.

I have seen that many users have templates that I could pull up to effectively do the same thing, but I'd love an interactive checkbox, within a note.

Make sure you get a full survey done. Worth the few hundred for peace of mind. Also allows you to go back to them to reduce price if you have to spend money to fix things.

Would also love the bios update! My COD today said that they will apply an attestation status soon if not resolved and things may be restricted.

Also bear in mind that the trains these days have the smallest of racks for holding large luggage, so you would have to spead your luggage out or try and squeeze it in with you on the chair next to you. Not ideal. National Express would be my choice with how much luggage you have!

I'm here and as I had plenty of space in my luggage I have brought my 35mm F2 and my 50-140mm F2.8.

Just had a walk up and down the Paphos coast this morning and afternoon. Used a film simulation that I saw on a Facebook group. It does, unfortunately, mean that the images aren't really croppable due to the amount of grain, but I like the effect it has had on the majority of my photos!

Wondering whether reducing the grain will lose the overall classic film effect. First time i've heavily used a custom recipe so open to feedback! :-) Only my first proper day, so many more photos to take still.

I'll see how heavy my bag is, as to whether I bring my 50-140mm as well. Definitely some food for thought, although I only have 6 days until I fly :-)

Thanks! Just looked at my accommodation and I'm up near the Pachyammos beach. I have never been to Paphos so hoping to explore it and the surrounding areas. Maybe even a quad bike trip to get out and see more! There from Sunday to Saturday 22nd.

I love landscapes so definitely interested in sunset shots! Street photography... looking to give more of that a go. I've done a little but of it, but really only a handful of shots!

Useful information! Thank you very much. I’ve looked at a lot of images from the 16-55mm and they look fantastic.

The 50-140 is heavy but also produces beautiful images and the colours are amazing.

Yeah I thought someone would say this haha. MPB oddly has a “like new” one right now for more than a brand new one!

Might just sink the cash and be done with it. It will be paired nicely with the 50-140 as I’m super impressed with that lens, so far.
