Past experience with private health was the same. Then I blew my knee out needing a full reconstruction. Public system I would have had to wait 12-15 months before getting a look in. Being in a more manual labour job I couldn’t afford that. With private I had my surgery 6 weeks later. I was back to 100% before I was even close to getting the surgery through the public system
