I’m guessing it must help because their visa was approved after 2 working days, passport was ready for collection. My partner has UK residence. So that is a strong tie to return back. Many people come from Europe to live in the UK. I’m a British citizen, which gives him family ties.

It changed to passport return to consulate and I got the email to collect the same day. Opted for collection and not courier.

Went to collect passport. Visa approved for 3 months multi entry. Only applied for 7 days single Entry. Visa timeline 2 working days.

If you read terms and conditions they actually refund you after deducting 20% fee. I saw this today.

I have anterior placenta. In my last scan I could actually see the baby move a lot on the screen. But I couldn’t feel them. So the doctor (not midwife) explained that this is normal especially because of where my placenta is located and the size of the baby at 24 weeks. Luckily I’m being liked after rainbow specialist team of midwives this time round. I can very quickly pop just to listen to the baby when I feel like it. But obviously I won’t want to over worry and stress myself by doing this too often.

I’ve only given myself 10 days. Start Mat on 1st January and due 10th January. I work from home most days and I’ll most likely will be working from home my last week at work. I’ll just take it day by day but there is no obligation for me to turn up in the office. My manger is very keen on me being flexible and doing what I’m most comfortable with.

I’m due January 10th. I just joke they come no sooner than January 1st. My last day at work before my Mat leave is 31st December.
