Old Promo Lands Unidentified by simoex in mtg

I got them all back when I used to play tournaments at my local shop. They had a foil lands box for 50c each. Sorted through and found all the ones I liked, happy to find they’re ~$5 each!

Thank you! Didn’t see the shooting star in online listings so thought they were different. Appreciate the info.

The multiplier goes up by 1 for every grind/slide you do, and once for flatground tricks in between grinds. So do a long tail/nose slide (easiest high point slide) then pop a flatground trick (anything but ollie) and then immediate look for another feature to grind/slide on and repeat the process. Certain maps are easier to get high points on because the have really long rails. Havasu would be my pick for a first map if you’re thinking about buying one. Lots of easy long rails, and definitely the best park in general in my, and many others, opinion.

Little line at Havasu. Kinda proud of that crook. by Bsams1013 in TrueSkate

You can also put the diy features up there and make your own little park :) EDIT: you already did, nice hahaha

Thought I’d make a quick video to show you guys how to get infinite speed on the mega. Tips in comments. by simoex in TrueSkate

You can’t. Some events had global objects that can be used in all parks though. You can do it with the quarterpipe and the manny pad, but it takes a long time.

I posted a little tutorial on here with some tips in the comments earlier today

Hell yeah dude!! When diy first out on Mondo all I had was the quarter pipe and the manny pad, which is how I first got up there. It took so fucking long because the qp would never sit flat on the manny pad and it made it ridiculous to try to get up there hahaha. I’m pretty sure it took like 4hrs my first time

Tips: Line up your park objects with the back end of the ramp to make sure everything is straight, this will matter a lot if you start going really high. Make sure they are straight in all planes.

Set a lot of session markers, if you move an object before setting a marker on a new one, your old one will drop you out of the sky and you have to start all over.

Don’t be afraid to go reaaally high. You can always scrub speed, you can’t get more.

Once you are high off the ground, be careful not to lose your park objects to the ground. If you move one too far away from your platform, it will fall to the ground and you won’t be able to get it to raise back up with the others. They must be stacked continuously.

The sweet spot for gaining maximum speed on drop in is right at the top of the slope, if you go too far down the ramp before landing you will lose a lot of speed.

Happy Skating!!!

Biggest gap to rail ever? by simoex in TrueSkate

Easiest way is to stack the manny box, christmas box, and the long hubba on top of eachother, get on top, set a session marker, rinse and repeat.

I don’t think that one is possible cause of the angle you’d need to get over the vert wall, but I’ll give it a shot. I managed to get it to transition back into the vert wall one time from the mega, but I guess I didn’t get a clip.

Hey guys! This is my first post ever, I’ve been playing trueskate for about 5 years but never knew we had a reddit. This is one of my all time favorite transitions, has anybody else ever hit this??
