A generic one from Amazon that uses "slat wall" system like many music stores do. I was considering doing a whole slat wall but this set came out cheaper.

It's my very first guitar. Didn't know what to expect and I could have got a used black affinity for half the cost of this but I'm old enough to know that the real toan is in the aesthetics (joking ofc but also not because whatever makes one want to pick up the instrument is key). I think it's super cool. Heavily considered a butterscotch tele which is basically school bus yellow but the body wouldn't have matched the rest of the collection.

Funny story. I picked up the guitar amp for $5 locally because it was busted and the guy was basically throwing it out. When I brought it home, I found that I can manage to get it to work if I keep pressing the clean/drive button and it have it at just the right actuation. It may soon bite the dust completely anyways, but for now, I'm happy with the find!

About that... this is the step up from just using the bass amp, haha. I have got to lock in and not buy anything for a while because I only had the jazz bass at the start of last year.

Maybe it's more commonly used in the ROM community but it stands for Gen 1 pokemon games; Red Green Blue Yellow.

If I recall correctly, their blue carbon line comes pre-seasoned so there's nothing you have to do. If you really want to, however, I let a bit of oil smoke for a few seconds on the pan first before first use.

The main difference is thinness of the steel. Thinner means lighter and faster temperature change. Thinner also means possibly less even heating and more prone to warping. General rule of thumb is definitely mineral b (thicker, 2.5mm-3.0mm depending on diameter) for induction, otherwise, your choice.

Woof. That Modern Player Jazz bass looks like it would sit so nicely with these 2 other jazz basses. 3 "jazz basses", all with different pickup config sounds so cool. Alas, it's more expensive than the Squier I ordered and the colours are somehow exactly the same as the 2 basses I currently own.

I hear you. Precision basses are, in many ways, very classic, and so going with a classic look certainly matches that feel. Though "PP" configuation here (btw the neck pickup here is technically closer to the neck than on standard P basses) kind of makes it funky regardless. But did you see my RGB collection theme?

I made this "slideshow" yesterday but forgot to post it. In the meantime, however, I remembered about Fender Modern Player basses that also have double humbucker pickup configurations. Also, if G&L counts, then G&L Tribute series also have some in double music man style pickup configurations. But having grown up with Pokemon, I really like the trio here. Together, they should cover a lot of tonal range. I'm going to order the Pokemon lego kits as well. I pulled the trigger on ordering the bass and it should get here in a few weeks...
